I absolutely love how everyone had to ween this guy in how to make a productive thread. For some reason this forumtard couldn't come up with improvements for the life of him, just complaints. xDD
Yes, when you write a post about something that is off, you are supposed to suggest improvements. That is how things work here. If you give no input on how to improve the issue you don't like, it will 99 times out of 100 stay the same. When missiles were facepounding everyone, we all came up with MANY ideas to fix them. CCP overdid it by using several ideas together, but it still got fixed. Sort of.
Point is, if you contribute nothing you get nothing in return. And hurling whiny complaints doesn't count as contributing.
As for the topic at hand, the sounds are fine, could use some fine tuning but are otherwise unimportant and good enough for now considering the multitude of other game issues that actually make it hard to play the game (i.e. lag outs, disconnects, not getting into matches, etc) |

Firestorm Zulu wrote:WRONG. You'll notice we got a direct response for the developer noting the all the sounds are getting a drastic overhaul. Just bc you type 8 paragraphs doesn't make you less wrong FYI . We clearly described the problems with the sounds from an operations perspective and not from the engineers perspective. And rightly so, we don't get payed and we are not professional sound designers. The sounds were described and critiques were given. We can't onomatopoeia this crap any more than we already did.
Get your fanboy head outta get rear and actually read that the developers know sound is an issue and is being fixed
Ahem. Please note that the Dev never commented until the rest of the community steered the thread onto a proper course. Also please note that the community were the ones who got the OP started on actually discussing improvements. The original post in this thread was nothing but complaints without an iota of constructive input. That is all

You utter, utter cretin. Pull your, swollen, dumb head out of your anus and get real.
It's unbelievable that a supposed grown, mature adult can be so sycophantic and emotionally connected to a video game.
I hope CCP are ignoring these sycophantic mutants who are happy to see the game collapse under it's own ambition. The real passionate fans are here pushing for changes that will elevate this to the best status it can possibly be at.
First you say you can't believe people can be so connected to a game, then you claim to be more passionate about it than I. Very nice.
Your original post had nothing to do with improving the game, just whining about how it's being done wrong. Be glad that there are people around who steered this thread straight, else it would have been locked long ago for lack of productive content. I only said what I did because I found it hilarious how long the community had to go over it with you to get you to give up a semi-constructive answer.
Anyway, as for my view of how there are other more important things to deal with right now, I don't see how anyone can disagree that getting server stability is more important than the sound my gun is making. But to each his own. |

Anyway, as for my view of how there are other more important things to deal with right now, I don't see how anyone can disagree that getting server stability is more important than the sound my gun is making. But to each his own. Don't make **** up either. I never said "I am more passionate than you". Use your noodle and read the words that are on the screen. Don't talk bollocks about "steering the thread" either. Most of the posts that are FOR new sounds have the most likes. You said, as is quoted above: "The real passionate fans are here pushing for changes that will elevate this to the best status it can possibly be at. " So, I coul be mistaken here. You are either considering yourself a more passionate fan than I, thereby saying your points are more valid, or you are saying that the more passionate fans opinions are... better than me? Have better opinions than me? Help me out here, because either way, you are propping up people as being better than me because they are more passionate about this game RIGHT AFTER you said that you can't believe anyone could be so emotionally attached to a game. Just a little confused there.
Also, I never said that changing the audio wasn't a popular choice, I'm saying that you had no constructive posts until they coaxed it out of you. If they hadn't been there trying to get an actual constructive answer out of you, the thread would have gone nowhere. Thus, they steered it. Not saying one side of the debate was controlling it more than another, just that the community saved the thread from being nothing but an unconstructive series of complaints. |
