I was thinking that maybe we could have a repair done that helps you repair a locked on target using the repair tool. Just an idea but please give it some thank you for your time! |

This would be an interesting feature for a Gallente racial specific logistics suit. Have them equip a variety of drones that they can assign (within a certain range) in place of normal equipment. Trade off of this could be making those suits a lot more squishy, given that they could rep and revive from cover. |

might I suggest a long range support "weapon" that you lock onto an ally and it releases autonomous drones to follow him while actively repping for a short time? (no longer than a minute unless the lock is maintained actively)
Further, make the amount of reps less than a repair tool as the little swarm of repair scarab drones whips around him.
Finally, this repair gun shall be limited by ammunition. One shot per load (think M-79 Grenade launcher) and the logi can only carry six loads that nanohives cannot replace and have to be reloaded manually. You have to hit a depot to resupply.
Variations on ammunition could be shieldlogi drones that actively rep shields, or hardener units that make you resistant to damage.
EMP weapons (flux grenades) instantly terminate drone swarms active on a target. |

Breakin Stuff's suggestion is pretty good in my opinion. The trouble with repair drones is that we have a repair gun, and you wouldn't want to make some AI-controlled device which substitutes for a person actually using a repair device to heal up a vehicle. Making such a drone, then, both short duration and of lower efficacy is probably a good trade-off. Although overall I would be a little wary of how long-range repairing could affect vehicle power. I guess it'd be pretty hard to tell outside of any larger-scale teamplay involving powerful tanks and several organized repairers. |

What I'm talking about is a logistics specific so that they aren't overshadowed by other classes and I was just think it could be used to assist in a repair not follow other people around but follow the logistics specifically and help his target only. Ideas guys? |
