Hey folks!
I was just having a chat with one of the guys at CCP, and he's agreed to give look at a report I'm going to start working on in the next few days.
The objective of this report is to give an informed, unbiased review of all the content currently in the game as far as balance is concerned, and what changes should be made in order to put everything in a nice place. I am currently looking for people to help me contribute in a series of what would likely be some -very- heated discussions regarding nearly every weapon, vehicle, turret, and module in the game.
Anyone who is interested in participating, please send me an ingame mail. I'm already working on getting in touch with a few people who I feel would be invaluable in this effort, but will welcome any input from anyone so long as they are able to maintain an objective view and debate points without being offensive (Like I said, expect many heated discussions. Looking for people who can stay civil even if not everyone agrees with them)
Anyone interested, please reply here or in an ingame mail. If you reply here, please send an ingame mail anyways, and include some method of contact information such as a coldfront IRC nick or an email so I can get in touch with you about this!
Edit: Subnote - Leave prior disputes at the door, please. This initiative is about the game itself. Just because someone you don't like may be taking part, doesn't mean you can't (Unless you find yourself incapable of remaining civil) Hate each other elsewhere, that's all I ask :)

No one will take priority, but I will be looking at posting history. If someone has a dubious (or non existant) posting history, I'm gonna want to talk to them ingame in a squad chat or so to hear their ideas and thoughts on stuff to see if they're going to be productive in this.

I'm sorry you feel this way. I do my very best to remain unbiased and objective in all things. I'm looking for people who can do the same, for this project. That's unlikely, so the best I can really do is gather several people who're able to think logically and get their opinions on the things that they use most.
(IE: Not looking for people that just want to buff things that they use because they use it. Anyone able to see there is a problem with something they are using and wants to see it fixed is welcome to particiapte)
The only people that I'll turn down for this are the people who are going to be counterproductive. (See the above bracket) Because really: What value is a fair say if you only use it towards being unfair to others?
Anyone who isn't directly involved with the report will still have the chance to comment on it, and CCP will be able to read their thoughts on it. When it's finished it will be on the forum, so your concern is mostly moot.
Note: This thread is merely for seeing who's interested in helping with the report itself. Any and all results will be in a different thread. |

Yes, that was me firing sniper rounds into your head as you sat in the MCC even though I knew you were out watching the Flintstones.
Actually, since the new Cap pretty much demands I log in every day instead of just grinding super hard on the days I feel like playing, I've been AFK'ing in the MCC while I work on spreadsheets and getting in touch with all the people who are interested in this, and general organization.

That's hardly a fair assesment.
If you'd like to squad up sometime, I'd love to actually play with you. Maybe you'd even like to make some positive contributions to this initiative while we chat and murder people?
Winning or losing some skirmish match is all well and good, but attempting to make a lasting impression on the overall gameplay to improve the experience for everyone?
