Do you shoot at a blueberries feet, constantly change weapon infront of him, or go hopping mad around him till he hands over the good stuff? We need a way to call for ammo. |

turn on mic....switch to team chat..... call out location and request ammo
step 1 is the most important part

Switch weapons infront of them and use sidearm near their feet, if this doesn't make em drop a hive nothing you do will. |

Sometimes just reloading my hmg gets a nanohive thrown at my feet (thanks blueberries!). Other times I stay in a vehicle until I can find one. The upcoming request ammo feature will be very nice for heavies. |

See this is the problem with comms in general.
The game overemphasizes the way PC players communicate with KB and text funtions, but in this game there isnt a scrolling text function in game and text chat requires a soft pause of the game... They really need to get out of this rut and make voice comm the normal function and let those that dont want to hear ppl use mute/mute all option or move over to a different channel other than team chat.
This is the defualt settings for comms that CCP should have on default
Voice comm: On
PTT: OFF
All players FORCED to TEAM CHAT on initial battle load including players in squad/corp/private chat channels
Then if players want to go away from team chat or simply not want to be on comms they can turn off their mics, mute or mute all or simply move back to their corp/private/squad chat.
Personally they need to add a 2ndary chat function that would allow PTT to a squad or team channel so if a person is one channel they can still comm with the other channel. |

Remind me to stop playing Dust514 when every game is a deafening cacophony of crying babies, screaming pre-teens, shouting siblings and various other horribly sounds.
Actually, no need to remind me - pretty sure myself and most others will stop playing automatically. |

At least we can mute now. I remember one guy that played with an open mic and bad music.

I would really like a system like battlefield 2 where if you hit Q it would highlight and tell your team or even Squad through the game itself. I found someone and cant kill them especially with the hard ranges and sensors needing SP in them. Also if you held down that button a wheel menu of commands pop up for you to use. It would need to have a timer because nothing is more annoying then nanohive nanohive nanohive nanohive. With a flashing symbol above the persons head that said it for reference. Mics are great but nothing beats an ingame voice for sound ,clarity, No constant What the blanks , over muffed mics,accents, half the message because the person began talking before the mic started recording, and not having the time to speak a detailed plan to someone over the mic. As of right now no one checks the chat in battle or even while bleeding out or before a re spawn quick.
Some good examples would be using one of the dpad maybe up im not sure what it is

Anyone else like the belly bump for ammo idea... i think it'll be a hit. I almost pi$$ed myself when me and Chemical Beni belly bumped in game after we took objectives. Plus everyone else was cracking up to.... Its gonna catch like a wild fire, all you nay sayers will see..... WAHAHAHAHA..... WAHAHAHAHA....WAHAHAHAHa (hand inerted and pinky finger pressed to the corner of my mouth.) Like me if you want to live. |

I wonder if they could add request ammo to the squad leaders wheel, but available for all squad members. Activating it would put a circle around you like putting defend on a person, but different colour. Thoughts? |

Hopping would be better, draws a little less attention than firing, and changing weapons quickly may not be noticed. should also discuss the univiersal sign for "I'm Out!" because logis who stay alive for a while and can't get to a supply depo (like the super small ambush map) tend to use their final nanohive 4 to 5 mins in. So, i guess we need some sort of "blueberrie speak." if not you'll be wasting your last bit of ammo at my feet and i have none to give because "I'm Out!" |
