I do not agree with the cap on the amount of skill points you can earn per day. Its currently set at 27000 skill points. Take "modern warfare" for instance, it didnt become best selling FPS of all time by limiting how fast people could rank up to unlock new weapons. I am a long time eve player, and I don't think CCP realizes that playstation FPS players arent going to play a game where they only level up for their first 4 or 5 matches of the day. I understand they do not want people to level up too fast, but when earning an average of 8-10k sp per battle you hit the 27 k cap rather quickly. I believe that this could cause people to have too many alts/accounts.
My suggestion, would be to only allow certain dropsuits/modules into "noob games" (for lack of a better term) or the "instant" games. You could set it up in a few different classes like, "RECRUIT-PRO-ACE" and limit what you are able to use in each level you decide to participate in accordingly. This would force more people into corporation battles, which is what it's supposed to be about. This way, people can level up while playing against each other and do it without any unfair advantages higher sp characters would have. You are always going to have stat padders, and people who have no life and play 24/7 to try and be number 1. More power to you when you beat them I say. Skill in the game plays as much of a role as SP does when it comes down to 1v1 on the field. |

I agree with the daily SP limit is set too low.
One other suggestion I might add is to allow players to 'roll over' their unused daily SP caps until they log on. Let the daily cap add up and get higher if they don't sign on and earn their daily cap level.
Also, there should be an indicator added to the Skill page of the Character Sheet so that people can see their progress. |

I have to agree. Once you hit the SP cap about the only thing left to do is earn money; but what good is the money going to do us if we can get the skills we need to get into the items we want? |

SP cap is terrible idea and honestly doesn't do anybody any good. Click here for a completely different way to approach balancing that might actually work and does away with focusing everything on SP. Support it or call me and idiot, I don't care because to me it's the only solution that will actually work while making the game more fun for all players. |
