I'm not sure if it was just me, but before the reset. I ran around mostly in a raven suit with com complex shield extenders, and some BPO low slot mods, like a armor rep, and a CPU chip.
When I ran around in this pretty standard fitting, I was able to challenge Dozens of heavies in 1v1, CQC situations, and win. I would be able to kill him faster with my Exile, then he could with his HMG... Why? How? He'd be dead, while I would have 1/4 armor left after the fight... I would be running at him, while scoped in, and he would go down so damn fast.
Some of the HMG's seem like they are under powered, I shouldn't be able to challenge a heavy at full health in a 1v1 CQC match, and win.
Remember, I was able to do this with a RAVEN suit. |

I used to eat through assault suits as they lined up to shoot at me. The only time I struggled was when people mastered good strafing, or lagged the F out.
Losing a mid-close range duel with an ar is the greatest shame a heavy can endure. |

imo armor tanking all around needs to be alot beefier to compensate for the slower speed and slower regen. |

Ya heavies might need a buff, I think their head hit box and percentage of damage should be smaller. And ya armor does seem to need more protection. |

A lot of ppl running heavies atm are using the militia suits which are terrible and have very little HP, that and a lot of ppl with the HMG are terrible, spraying away without using their brain at all, its not a god suit and it shouldn't be buffed into one.
Good HMG users are able to dominate in CQC atm with no good assault suits getting around. |

HMGs take a lot of SP to work bad ass (Unless they got to Logibros healing them).
To run a HMG effectively, you need Weaponry at 4, HMG Operation at 5, Field Mechanics at 5, and Shield Control at 3 to 5. Gives you the HP and makes sure your HMG does not overheat. |

The one thing I have noticed after each reset is that the heavy is on a slower curve. We hit our stride a little later than ar, as far as skills and weaponry, but then we become beasts for a short while as the AR people kind of level out.
So the rise of the fatmen is coming! We just need some serious SP hand outs! |

Heavies are supposed to be feared. They are not. Every game I've ever played, when a heavy is comming, you take cover. Think Big Daddy in Bioshock. Remember the heavies in Killzone? These heavies are weak in comparison. They look like a heavy, they move like a heavy, they have heavy weapons, but they die like an assault suit. |

theres so much complaints about heavys! i really think theyre balanced the way they are. If an assult is soloing a heavy at point blank unfair advantage the heavy just sucks. I have no promblem with assults when im fighting them how i want to fight them |

lol you're like the complete opposite of the guy who posted about him being a heavy and always dying from AR hits maybe you're the one who keeps killing him hahaha |

It's mostly like the lads are saying, once we hit about 2 mil SP things start to change in favour of the heavy but we definatly are not the be all and end all monsters that we used to be. I would like to see a bit of resistance put on armour to compensate to the huge hitbox we have maybe 5% not much, which might level the playing field a bit against Lasers and AR's at long range. However in the meantime I will try and stick to cover and play smart. Just before the reset I got a bit of hate mail when I murdered a squad of 4 AR dudes in less than a couple of seconds, and I'm an average player at best, so it can't be all that bad.
