I know i had over 350k SP to distribute and i upgraded a lot of skills straight away. EDIT: Actually, i'm pretty confident i had AR proficiency from the start. The skillbook i remember buying was the Sharpshooter one.

Edited : only really running the basic burst for now though, for the isk savings while there's so many skill books to buy again.

And I saw a whole squad of DJINNs sitting on top of Manus Peak yesterday sniping, not hitting anything, not capturing objectives. Love playing 12 on 16 guys. Thanks, really. My weaponry is currently level 4, so I may max that out before getting the B type, and maybe get an extra level of sharpshooter, but I don't plan to diverge from my current path too much.
