I don't know if it is normal opening day jitters, moving over to the new servers.
The micro-freezes for me are back and it is really messing with the aiming using the move. Explosions anywhere on the visual area are really jittery, they have a blast animation now that shows debris blowing around; which makes my screen freeze and then a second or two later it corrects itself, now it doesn't seem to effect people at the same time as my enemies don't seem to have a problem hitting me as I seem to drift or continue moving in whatever direction from before the blast. Aiming down the iron sights is almost impossible to hit anyone farther away then 25meters.
I still have the almost 9GB install file, haven't tried to re-install that.
Are there additional Ports to Open for the networking, now that we are on the final server?
How do I know what game battle server I am on? I'm in north america and it was very british sounding in the team channel, when it wasn't german or what I am going to geuss is Italian and my local has none of the people that have populated it for the last 3 months. |

If the match-making is working properly, you could well have British players with you on the US server - Dust traffic from UK to the EU server in Amsterdam appears to be routed via Texas for some reason, so the US server (almost 5,000 miles away) is going to be a better choice for a British-based player over the (nominally) EU server in Amsterdam (maybe 300 miles away, or 10,000 as the Dust packet flies!). Yeah, I know - insane.
And this loss of smooth gameplay happens every character reset for some reason - the gameplay basically bottoms out, becomes awful, and eventually improves a bit. I should really graph my K/D ratio as it plummets and slowly recovers - it'd probably form the same curve after each reset |

There is definetely something up, as I just finished 2 of the laggiest matches I have seen in a long time.
I can't stress the disorientating nature of this bug, I am waiting to be able to record something and post it up on my youtube channel, and just ask CCP what they think is the problem.
I checked my internet, speedtest, checks normal the same as the last 12 tests going back 3 months, and pingtest gives me a solid A rating too.
Again, it is a new server, I only have ports open on my router - it is not in a DMZ, so are there any different or additional ports to open up for the Dust Client on Tranquility?
Second question is how do I re-install the client without losing any of the gear I still have not assigned to my character, a merc pack, and the gear I already assigned - a merc pack. |

I live in Amsterdam, and I get the micro freezes as well. Really annoying. |

You have to think also, we're now on tranq not sisi. Which means instead of having the connection and server work load to ourselves.......we now have anywhere between 25k-70k eve players on the same server. In eve we have a thing called "time dialation" if the server in a certain cluster begins to lag dialation takes over and slows down the game play time so that lag isn't a big issue. I'd like to see this put into dust even if its just a hot fix for the time being, and it prob will be later on.......not much but my 2 cents.
Heres the dev blog on time dialation http://community.eveonline.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&bid=900 |

Whatever the reason is, it needs to get fixed ASAP. Lag in an FPS kills players, and if Dust gets a reputation for lag spikes, it will kill the game at launch. |
