DUST is turning in a First Person Nader. Now after the reset most people using militia or low end suits, so 1 militia nade is all it takes to go down.
The dmg on these free nades NEED to go down. Shooting your gun now isn't even needed tbh. 1v1? Ha! Get naded son!
i might just invest my SP into nades and forget about skilling up my gun. Sit down on a nanohive and beast people with my throwing arm.
Seriously though, for a shooter, the nade spam is getting a bit much.

As far as I am concerned, the only major change to grenades is the greater accuracy and control of throwing the grenades.
I think it's most likely that we are all back to 0 again (Especially in the shield and armor department). It definitely reveals a bit of a flaw in the initial stages of our growth as mercs. Because as far as I am concerned, this issue was non-existent when we were 2-3 months of seasoned mercs.
Nonetheless, adapt to this playing field. Don't want to get grenades? Keep your distance. You have plenty of weapon choices at militia stage to pick from (Assault Rifles, Snipers, to certain extent, Forge Guns).
And even getting and maintaining standard laser rifles is a proper weapon to fight long distances. There is nade spamming, but it's not something worth calling a major flaw. |

oh look..another one of those "adapt" people.
So there's nothing wrong with dying from 1 free nade?
If you said no, then I won't even bother replying to you again.

Nade damage is fine as it is, there isn't anything wrong with nades being OHKweapons even a month in after last reset I was being OHK by grenades and I was running standard/advanced gear but they had longer fuses back then like 3 seconds. Right now we have almost no skills in anything but what they do need to do is extend the fuse again so you can at least TRY to get away. As it is now from the moment it leaves their hand if you don't see it straight away and begin to move by the time it lands and you're not out of the blast radius you're screwed |

Some grenade balance ideas:
-Militia variant grenade should only hold 1 grenade. This would actually correlate with militia weapons holding less ammo per clip. The upside would be that they have a lower CPU/PG requirement, making them a good choice for making room for other gear. This would also encourage players to upgrade to better grenades faster.
-Nanohives and supply depots should resupply grenades at a much slower rate. Right now this combination puts mass drivers to shame. |

Was just in an Ambush match and it was grenade spam! Boom, boom,boom,boom,boom,boom...........ad nauseaum.
Militia grenades need zero SP and make that "seven years to level up" USELESS. Just use nanohives and militia grenades and thats the only weapon you need.
There is no shooter in the game at present. Its the same broken game mechanics from the remote explosives build. |

Dear god shut up, put skills into armor and shield defenses, use extenders and plates, then buy better dropsuits.
Problem effing solved, militia nades cant save you now.
Note i said use extenders. shields resist locus grenades better.
This memo has been given 5000+ times now. trade a complex damage mod or two for an effing DEFENSE MODULE if they offend you so. |

Snif, snif I smell a grenade abuser responding with the same BS as when Remote Explosives were the fad glitch flavor of the build.
Before the move to TQ I had BETTER suits, BETTER skills and these grenades were still a problem since my base shields/armour was at over 1000HP with mechanics L5 and shield management at L4. Its a bug where the grenade does more than the stated damage of 400 HP but guess thats too complicated to understand??

The problem isnt really the short fuses or the dmg as much as it is the AH PANIC NADE button. It you had to switch to nades to be able to use them and then manually switch back to a gun that would fix the whole issue as then you are taking a risk with all the switching between weapons. |

Outrage at a bug?? LOL!!
Plus in further testing it looks like in some cases just as when the grenade is tossed if you are moving then it acts as if you fell from a higher elevation and thus you recieve damage that is more than the stated 400hp. Thats on ground thats supposed to be even yet the system acts as if you just fell a great distance.
Try this: Surround a clone and if it tries to move the change in height elevation of one or two inches will add damage as if the clone falls from a very high elevation and thus you have a death on the War Barge.
There you go death from "falling" one to two inches or two hundred hp damage plus a militia grenade at the proper time and its OHK.

How is a, militia suit with about 300 HP popping to a nade that does 400 a bug? my militia fatsuit can eat a nade as long as i havent been, and dont get shot while it goes off. |
