If you think about it, they did claim that it would take 7 years to max out all the skills. Well I believe it at this rate. Also, if we were getting more SP think about the disadvantage the Open beta player will be at. For those who have boosters and play everyday maxing out their caps and including passive sp, they will have 1mil advantage on the first wave of open beta then even bigger advantage when the game goes live unless there is another reset on the horizon. |

I can appreciate the cap do to a full time job and family, so thank you CCP but reaching it in 2ish hours is nonsense even us "casual" players like to put in 4-6 hours and when it comes time when the family is away and its time to play... I would really like to feel a sense of achievement when I want to nerd out for the 8-12 for that day.. Either raise the cap amount 75 is worthless when a lvl one skill book costs what 6k +or maybe give a 24hr no cap booster but you can only us it twice a week for those people that are able to play more on the weekends or flex shift and on more a few days out of the week (but make it purchased using ISK) even though theoretically isk can be purchased with money when the economy's mix... just an idea.. thanks |

The game has to last 7 years for that to even happen. Remember this is an FPS where 2-3 is normally pushing it. Also remember not everyone will care about maxing out everything. I know me personally after a while of reaching the cap, getting off and going to play something else with just become tedious (I like to play to level up my char). Take away the limited time spent playing and you take away potential earnings for AUR purchases etc. |

Oh come on, not another thread saying the exact same thing that twenty other threads have already said. Read the bloody forum rules - don't duplicate threads; search the forums first; hell even look at the titles of the threads on the first page of the forums!
CCP please announce something in game, so people not reading the forums know what's going on! |

I think this system will bring players on every day for each time zone. Last build, near the end of the week, hardly any of my contacts were online playing. Look on the bright side, there's never a cap on ISK! XD |

Personally if you're going to do a cap for SP, then at least have it be longer than a few hours. CCP wants people to play this game and play it often. A cap on SP (especially the way that it is now) will make players do their couple hours then move on to another game. It's annoying to play, do well and then only get 50 sp.
CCP if you're watching the posts - SP cap is not a good way to bring players in and keep players playing. Players are finicky and will easily move onto something else if they see they are not progressing. I know I did last night.
I was like hmm....50 points for a game...well then let me go play something else (and I did). |

Take note of other things gained besides SP:
- War Points - ISK
These are things more important than SP. SP isn't going to mean much when you're looking to get hired for jobs. |

Yeah I could use a different character but the equipment and boosters I've purchased are on the character I want to use. So now I am expected to start from scratch just to get "active" sp? What a waste playing at this point |

I understand CCP's desire to protect the casual player from being left behind. Most people I have the pleasure of playing aren't casual players. This SP cap is bad news, it cripples dedicated players. It removes any incentive to play once the cap is reached. I usually hit the cap in an hour and a half or less. Skills aren't advancing so I have no reason to keep playing. As it stands if things don't change I'll drop the game and not refer players to it. Whomever thought that 50 SP would be a good number for SP once the "cap" was reached needs soundly beaten about the head and shoulders. It's an insult and a waste of time to play at that point. |

With the SP cap and the passive booster going at the same time., Why even play the game at all or even real money on these passive and avtive boosters. |
