1a. However, all the verbal baggage that you so freely provide afterward is going to deter corps from repeating that situation. Now you have to deal with the negative outlook the vast majority of this community has toward you.
I'm sorry but this sounds like a plea to devs to step in and fix an isolated problem that was self-created.

1. What "stigma" do you refer too? A few members talking smack on forums... other corps dont do this as well? Any corp battle we've had has stayed private. The outcomes aren't shared with the community unlike Betamax and SI to name a few. We keep the wins to ourselves and don't loudly trumpet them on the forums.
2. I would disagree about corps looking to find a good fight. There are only a couple of corporations that will give us a corp battle, the rest avoid us and I don't think it has anything to do with "our mouths". It has to do with the threat of losing. I'm not saying we won't be beat, we will for sure and this drives us to play harder. But I think alot of the corps in this beta dont want to lose, so they schedule matches against people they can beat (see Hellstorm).
1a. As I stated in paragraph 1, we have never posted on forums or made known to other players the results of our corp. match, so what baggage are you refering to? I don't mind the community having a negative outlook towards us, it would happen whether some in the corp. talk or not. Think about other games/MMOs you've played, has there always been disdain for the no.1 guild? There was when I played WoW, RIFT, EQ2, CoH, BF3, etc etc. whomever is on top will get hated on, it happens.
What we are asking for is not a plea to the devs, please. It is common sense. TBH I don't care anymore. Now we are going live it doesnt matter whether we get a "willing" corp battle or not. When contracts are up, if you want them, come through us, there won't be anymore "not playing".
Look forward to avoiding your HMG on the battlefield :)
