Look at it. The once proud Breach gun; a formerly useful tool on the battlefield, now a washed up has been. The Donovan McNabb of ARs in DUST.
It used to be a solid gun. Sure it had a low RoF, but it made up for it with punch. Back in the days of the strafe and circle build it was awesome to have because it rarely left you without ammo and did more damage over time.
But now there it lies, a useless hunk of junk. Not much better than a Type II HMG on MAG or an AN 94 on BF3. About as useful as a doorstop in a treehouse.
Poor little Breach Gun, we knew hardly knew ye. |

I use both of those weapons in their respective games and put out well with them, the breach is still just too much of a red-headed step-child for me to use. |

We all saw it coming. Only reason it was OP, was because of bad hit detection. It was the only effective weapon to use, because you knew a lot of you rounds wouldnt hit, so you might as well make them count. When hit detection was fixed, it would automatically make the higher rof guns better. Instead of waiting to see it play out, CCP nerfed the breach, and along with the autobuff the other guns got from better hitdetection, it made the breach all but useless. |
