Yup to both. Least I'm pretty sure on that second one. I hope so. It makes so much more sense to just update the game and keep everyone on it and just remove the "Beta" tag.

No I ment like in other betas when they come out of beta and they are F2P you had to get rid of your beta client and re-download the new client altogether this happened to me in Tribes Ascend

The info posted was just this last week. What it means is they think that the major changes to the structure of data on the servers/clients is done. So a wipe is no longer necessary, unless something catastrophic happens. Everything else they have planned will be incremental changes from this base line. Just software speak. Relax.
