When the reset happens, delete your character and pick the new name.. there you have a name reset. |

Not so sure about this now. With the new 10 hour cool down for sending it to biomass they stay in doomhiem. |

The downtime for the patch is 12 hours so that works too. |

Actually disregard I was thinking in terms that you may not be able to select the same name now it you delete. |

Isn't it risky to delete a character with special items in inventory; like skinweave suits, etc? |

Pretty sure the items are assigned to your account and not individual character profiles upon reset. So you can create a new char and then assign them what gear you want.
One thing to remember if you delete a char and create a new one, you lose all your contact information for the original. |
