Matchmaking is just horrible. "Atractive for random players". Yeah right. I don't know when do you want to test the matchmaking. But if you will testing this one in the Open Beta, you just will scare all the new players.
"ISK risk makes the game most interesting and you need to be carreful about how do you play the game". What about snipers for example? 0.001% ISK risk. Also you can make all the same using an advance suit as a proto suit but cheaper. Why does a heavy guy will use a proto suit that cost more than a tank? No point.
SP is confused since you nerf the weapons to make them more "balanced". Balanced? Really? So why would I spend SP to get better things that someone else. Because SP difference between weapons doesn't compense the "stats" difference. And this happens with the ISK difference too. It just lose the point. If you nerf the stats, I think you must nerf the prices too because you just promote people to play with "standar" things. You don't promote the development of you character. Also, if you have this kind of thoughts, you must nerf vehicles too. Because if i'm looking right, a Soma has no chance against a Surya.
Well, nerfing all you just make the game "newbie". SP lose point and as I think, that makes the game playable for a long time.
I'm not a FPS player. I just played Killzone sometime, but I love RPGs. Something that I love of this game is that, when you unblock some skill, some weapon or something. That's very interesting for me. But meh, it's very disappointing when you reach some skill level and you just feel equal than before, because you just think "f@ck, I musted use those SP to something else". The only thing that atract me to develop my character is the name of the weapon and the color of the suits. Looking a black suit and read "Duvolle" instead "militia" when you kill some guy.
This are my thoughts. I'm not supose to get funny with this because it's a beta. As a "beta tester" this is what I see and I think it's important.
Any kind of comment is welcome.

Edited: just to don't reply any comment about "complaing" about the game or "leave the developers make their job" or something like that, I repeat, this are my thoughts after testing the game day by day. Anyone else can feel anything different. I know if I bother the developers, GMs, or if they just "don't need me" (of course they don't need me to make a game), they can delete my account. |

I have patience. I'm not hurry about the game relase. I just think an Open Beta is supose to "keep testing" and "attract players". Waiting for the Open Beta to test the matchmaking? I think it's a mistake. |

I'm not talking about the "FPS part" of the game. I'm taling about the "SP part". It's not "so funny" spend weeks to get "Proto Skills" and feel the same that you do with advance. If you nerf the "stats difference", at least, nerf the "SP difference too", and of course, "ISK difference". Nerf in an equivalent way.
Also as you said, it's not funny for new players to get killed all the time, and it's not funny for "pro players" own the entire game, that's why matchmaking is so important (in my opinion). Make new players play against new players, and then move on to play against "advance players".
They balanced the "weapon's stats". Cool for me, but I used a lot of SP to get the "Proto skill" and it's kinda dissapointed because I have the same results using advance as proto gear. But using proto gear I increase so much more my "ISK risk". That's why I said, this way, you don't promote people to develop your character, because it has not sense increase your ISK risk, just "for nothing". Nerf the stats, good, more balanced. Nerf the prices too and the SP that you need to unblock the skills. Make atractive the "SP history"

Proto Heavy easy cost more than a Madrugar or a Gunlogi. vk1 without any kind of weapon or modules, cost more than 250 000 ISK. I don't know how many players we are right now and how matchmaking is supose to work. But when you join into a match, you can see full clans/friends in one side, and full randoms in the other. I don't think that's a good idea. Also because I don't know who said: "we want the game to be atractive for random players". I think that's not the best way to do it. I mean, yes, It's a challenge and it's funny, but give some help, don't put all the clans in one side, because you're telling to the players "just join to a corp or you will fight alone against them".
That's what I feel now, maybe tomorrow when they make something new, I will say "I just love the entire game", release it now.
