You understand the matchmaking isn't working because we don't have enough players right? We play against the same players everyday due there not being 1000s of us online yet, 3 battle servers, two battle types, thats 96 players, we've got something like triple that number online at one time, which really isn't a lot when it comes to matchmaking.
Snipers will get a nerf dw, they're working on snipers so patience with that man, also I call bullshit on a Heavy costing more than a Tank, when your heavy suit costs more than 1mil, then we'll talk. |

Heavies can cost around 500k though, which is as much as some tanks. By the way, which country are you from? Just asking as only the guys from the Anzac and Asia servers can complain about matchmaking.
From the UK. Nobody can complain due to low numbers, it isn't a proper matchmaking system til we actually have enough people that the system can match us against. I mean, I play against my corp all the time, there are always SI playing matches and they're always in my game (usually against me), all the time. We need OB to bring us more players so we can actually do work with the system. |

I'm not talking about the "FPS part" of the game. I'm taling about the "SP part". It's not "so funny" spend weeks to get "Proto Skills" and feel the same that you do with advance. If you nerf the "stats difference", at least, nerf the "SP difference too", and of course, "ISK difference". Nerf in an equivalent way.
Also as you said, it's not funny for new players to get killed all the time, and it's not funny for "pro players" own the entire game, that's why matchmaking is so important (in my opinion). Make new players play against new players, and then move on to play against "advance players".
They balanced the "weapon's stats". Cool for me, but I used a lot of SP to get the "Proto skill" and it's kinda dissapointed because I have the same results using advance as proto gear. But using proto gear I increase so much more my "ISK risk". That's why I said, this way, you don't promote people to develop your character, because it has not sense increase your ISK risk, just "for nothing". Nerf the stats, good, more balanced. Nerf the prices too and the SP that you need to unblock the skills. Make atractive the "SP history"
@Jason Pearson
Proto Heavy easy cost more than a Madrugar or a Gunlogi. vk1 without any kind of weapon or modules, cost more than 250 000 ISK. I don't know how many players we are right now and how matchmaking is supose to work. But when you join into a match, you can see full clans/friends in one side, and full randoms in the other. I don't think that's a good idea. Also because I don't know who said: "we want the game to be atractive for random players". I think that's not the best way to do it. I mean, yes, It's a challenge and it's funny, but give some help, don't put all the clans in one side, because you're telling to the players "just join to a corp or you will fight alone against them".
That's what I feel now, maybe tomorrow when they make something new, I will say "I just love the entire game", release it now.
I really like the rest of the game.
Aye a heavy costs more than a gunlogi with just its hull because quite honestly it'll probably outtank it -_- Vehicles are awful without its modules, which can go over 1mil ISK per 1. You can sit above us and fire Forge Rounds and Swarm Launchers and kill us off with ease.
Aye I'll agree current matchmaking isn't good man, It's just by chance most of the time but the game currently seems to just put all queued players into the same match, the reason you're getting all solo players (usually newbies) is because Corps play in squads most of the time so 4 guys join the game, the other team has 4 more slots to fill which are usually filled by the next 4 squadless players, then oh look, another squad wants to join the game so they join and join the other 4 man squad, making 8.
Again, I don't think it's matchmaking but just the fact there isn't enough players yet. |
