Sorry, but I get plenty of "no battle found messages", there's plenty playing. This week anyways.
Last game was a perfect example.
The opposing team was 4 DTA's, 2 Hellstrom (who did not die btw as they were in a tank the entire time, granted it was a militia Sica, but I'm pretty sure my team mates had little idea how to equip a Swarm launcher much less use one), and two Crimewave corp members.
Meanwhile, my team had a contingent from the law offices of Screwit, Suckit, and Leaveit. By the end of the match I counted a whopping 12 snipers, most of the ones I saw personally on my way to the back to hack the rear objectives looked like they were in starter gear.
I ended up taking lead on my team with an unspec'd AR, an unscpec'd Militia Scout suit, and an awesome 2/3 KD with a universe bending 600 WP. The reason why my K/D is so awesome is because how i kill ANYONE with that rig is beyond me. I would've scored more points (and so would the opposing team) if the damn tank crew didn't blown up everything I hacked. Idiots.
This scenario is happening a lot. In fact, I haven't been on a winning team all night and I've been playing for about 3 hours. And I'm always making top 5 on the leaderboard at the end of the game by doing the same thing. Going negative, and hacking. And it's always the same thing. One or two uber buffed corps on the other team vs me and a million raging newbs (I know it's bad when we spawn in and I'm the ONLY one running for hacks at the beginning).
I understand it's the beta and "Welcome to New Eden" but an attempt needs to be made to balance out the ingame pub rosters by any means necessary.

There is no such thing as complete and utter garbage. It's contradictory, in a way. Everything has its use. So by saying the player balancing is complete and utter garbage, the OP is in fact saying
The player balancing is something impossible, thereby indirectly commending CCP on their efforts attempting to truly balance so far.

I don't see why you want to change something when you have no clear reason for changing it.
What kind of narcissistic asshat cares about their KDR in a Beta?
My issue is that when there's a pubstomp in this game, unlike other games, everyone loses out. If there's no conflict, there's no ISK, no SP, and no WP being made by either side.
And it's boring.
We have variables that could place an index number on a player on the back end. The ability is there. That's all I'm saying. |
