My brother and I just had a thought...
What if...
...CCP were to not only do a character wipe on Dust mercs but ACCIDENTALLY on Eve capsuleers as well?
...
CCP, be careful with this. |

Berserker007 wrote:i think we will all be happy; but at same time; the move isn't the "important" part; but a hope that it will also include an update. B/c as is, this game now will not attract & hold many people with the current build.
That & if we all start from scratch; i have no idea what to put SP into if things stay the way they are :(
It's not the build. It's the server. Singularity is not known to hold many players. Tranquility is specifically suited to handling tons of players at once. So moving to TQ could solve much of the problems we have now in regards to lag. Who knows. |

Zion Shad, you seem very certain about this. And you didn't say "soon" at all and Erlendur didn't include the (TM) when he said "soon" in his subsequent tweets. |

@zion
I ran into a player some time ago who told me he never visited the forums. Probably still doesn't. |

So we can now invite anyone to play this game thats is like 50% done. Closed beta should continue longer tbh. We havent even SEEN district capture mechanics... FW is no where in sight...
Ummm, what is CCP even working on since chromosome deployed!? Something VERY Special, I promise you that .
All that will come in due time. Eve Online went into full release back 2003 but took nearly 10 years to get to where it is now because there are two new FREE expansions every year. Dust will surely be the same. |

This is the sixth iteration of their trolling schemes and they have become increasingly efficient at it. |

J'Jor Da'Wg wrote:Look, this is cool and all, but I fail to see any huge implications byond open beta. We already have connected DUST and EVE on Sisi, and shot Eve-Dust OBs, so its not historic in that right...
I for one could care less what server we are on, until the actual mechanics are in place to bridge that gap and make it "One Universe, One War", then the joining servers is moot. It becomes, "One Universe, but war seperated by the atmospheric barrier"
Not hating at all. I just am pointing out how the REAL moment of glory will come when the economies between EVE and DUST link and FW affects standings and such
A very good point. Well said. The real fun will be in the economics since everything is tied to the economy. FW, SOV, PVE, Salvage, Corp Management, etc. |
