Didn't realize a difference of 317 is almost 400... my bad. You're complaining about the price of suits, and talking about bullet survivability, but only bringing shields into the equation. You don't just compare things based on their shield value when talking about survivability or worth, especially when there's such a huge discrepancy in the armor values. It's not like suits are dead the second their shields hit zero. And it's not a 317 difference when you look at maxed mechanics, it's 396 (527 vs 131, you know, the numbers I posted earlier), which is almost 400.
i just looked at the base numbers... bad math again? 422-105= 317

Tiel's accurate - but that difference your referring too doesn't equal the loss of mobility we get. If we're going to be slow tanks then why the hell is assault close to us in health. Kills the term 'tank'
But like I said earlier - we're fine as a class. We just need class specific mods so we have more choices in how we want to build without OPing ourselves or another class. And a price reduction so that we can run our proto suit more then once every 6 battles. You can't expect pubs who want to be heavy to be happy that when they finish there grinding to get there perfect heavy soldier that assault players will be laughing at them since they reached there goal first and there more likely a more effective soldier at a cheaper cost.
If I'm paying 250k for my proto suit alone then I expect stats that'll put me on top in most situations. That may come off as wrong to some as tankers are paying well more then that - but they're giant fortresses players need to jump into totally different gear to face - I can get one shot by a militia forger lookin' to just 'f around in BPO militia heavy and militia forges or shotgunners in militia or snipers who know there crap - seems to be plenty these days. I'm way more likely to get OHK - I need more then what I have now to meet the situations I'm suppose to.
Also I'd like to again thank Hercule for not closing this thread xD
Lack of BPO Type-I or II also is killer on us... though I'm not sure if assault gets BPO type-II |

My actual qq is proto weap damage vs militia weap. i dont use the AR but I think a 1 bullet per kill difference between militia and proto assuming sameskillz is a bit too heavy handed a nerf. oh wait. this was useless QQ?

scrambler pistols are OP and need a nerf because my fatsuit (that i hardly use because i like logi better) has a zeppelin sized head hitbox!
Clearly this means the scrambler rifle is worse! Nerf it now before it is considered useful!
Ok also! Howdidthat taste is OP with HMG. nerf him along with gslick!

Earlier today a 2 sniper duo camped the hell out of every building top in the 4 letter objective map. Such tears my slow fat ass had everytime I tried to get closer. Eventually gave up since the blue berries couldn't get in a group of 3 without getting wiped out.
CCP, force everyone into team comms if it doesn't already at start of games so I can turn my mic on and just yell at people obvious comments on what to do :( |

Thank you for this thread. I wish they would fix the damn vehicle stealing! If the person isn't myself, or someone in my squad, then I don't want some random ass hole taking my fitted LAV and destroying it. Any word on if they are going to fix this.
Also, When TF did they allow you to be killed by grenades in the MCC. I was deciding on a fitting and some ******* threw a grenade and killed me...In my own MCC! WTF?! Shouldn't the Capseeler in control have an auto kill switch if that would happen?
There are my two rants.
In all seriousness though. OP if you make a list, add those two to it. I don't feel like spending time with details to make another bug report about the MCC issue that CCP will just ultimately overlook. Also I know the vehicle thing pisses a lot more people than just myself off. lol
What do some of you think of an auto destruct for your vehicles? Nothing that would cause massive damage, but mainly so the enemy doesn't take your tank if some random sniper gets a lucky shot off on you.
