I can make a dropship fall out of the sky but it won't blow up until it hits the ground. Why? LAV's and HAV's blow up instantly when all shields and armor are depleted, why doesn't the same thing happen for dropships? I get no kill points because everyone jumps out as it falls out of the sky, just some lousy vehicle destruction points.
Make dropships blow up or give ground vehicle crews a 3 second window to escape death like dropship crew does.
or do dropships have a 3rd structure hit point system you have neglected to inform us on? if they have 500 structure hitpoints you are not showing, well then you need to hurry and get that on the UI quickly, and in the descriptions. |

I will continue to put the into the ground, I would just like to see them blow up in the air when I put the final kill shot on it instead of watching it limp slowly to the ground. |

actually, you know how armor catches fire at a certain point and burns away, then explodes?
Same thing with dropships, except that they fall when they are on fire, so when they hit the ground the last of their armor goes and they go kaboom. You'd have to actually hit them as they fall or do enough damage.
That is just what I've come to believe, don't take it as 100% fact. |

This problem has persisted for all the builds, blow the ish outta a dropship and see all those potential +50 drop to the ground to cause more havoc. Thats the reason I love to blow them up when they are near the ground usually get the kills then. |
