I'm specced into the Light Logistics Vehicles (AKA the Limbus and Charybdis). Despite playing since the E3 build i haven't seen one or the other In battle. I was wondering if anyone else uses them and what they think of them without the drop suit remote repair mod?
I mean come on CCP, taking the mod off was not in the chromosome patch notes and it is a little disenchanting to not know why.
*Update.
I can confirm that the repair mod is still on the LLV In Chromosome. It only appears if you Don't have Active Modules equipped. I'm going to submit a thread to Techsupport/Bugs in the highest hopes that this is in fact Bug and not a feature.
- the range is still infinite.
- Active and cool down times seem unchanged.
- the max number of lock-ons is unknown but is GëÑ to 4.
- I can confirm triage and Guardians are awarded.
- If you used the repair Mod in Codex, the process for getting and maintaing the Lock has remained unchanged.
the repair rate seem slower however this needs to be tested more. |

Wow, thats interesting. I can't see mine but I was able to pre-chromosome. My current LLV fit has two active mods (one high one low) and when I pull up the Mod menu that is all I see. |

HA! Don't hate on armor just yet. you should see what two heavies can do when they're on the business end of my proto repair tool. Also If you could direct your LLV drivers to this thread I'd love to hear what they have to say about them. !t's not common to see other people who are speced into LAVs. |

Would fix so much. how would it work tho in terms of how mods currently work with a certain activation time and cooldown time or would u have it work say the same way as a blaster turret in terms of heat buildup the longer u rep? Have it work like a turret sized version of the handheld rep. but wouldnt it need a cooldown time to be balanced? would be kinda ridiculous if someone can just sit there and RR all day
Not really, you are only as strong as your armor and you can still be OHK'ed by genades, snipers, or even other LAV bumpers. Even multiple people targeting the same person can out DPS the repair mod when shooting Lightly armored foes. this Isn't as true for armor tanking infantry since an armor plate lets them live longer when their shields are down and gives the repair mod more time to do its job; compounding its efficacy.
As for balance. yes it's has a cool down similar to the Self repairing mods the militia lavs have and must cool down and be restarted when ever a lock is lost. IMO you should be able to lock on and repair people wether the mod is active or not so that you can regain the lock should you lose it.
Also, next time you see a blue dot with a LAV hop into his turret and see how long you last; I'll be holding by breath. |

I'd also like to see people repaired while inside my Limbus. nothing death defying, just enough to get them to full armor while getting from A to B. |

UPDATED OP. TL;DR if you use and active mod on the Limbus/Charybdis then you can't use the innate drop suite repair moduial.
IMO if this turns out to not be a Bug I would like to see the 0.5 dammage turret debuff go away when the module cannot be used. |
