So I was in a game and was squad leader(for once). I was giving giving orders but my guys were on a hill sniping, running around like it's halo, and driving around like it's twisted metal. I decided to order the same command 10-15 times in a row so they would see "HEY, get the hell over here a cap this node!!". After I did that and the order showed up on screen for like a minute straight they actually started doing it.
Anyway, my idea: when you issue a squad command the team hears an audible cue saying to capture/rally a point. Kinda like the female voice that says something was hacked/upload failed, except make it a male voice. The way I hear it in my head is a deep voice with a hint of robot .
And if it would override the female voice that would be awesome. Of course if it can happen at all. |

I suppose if you're randomly shoved into a squad with would be blueberries, they're all acting as single entities instead of a team anyway. For squad orders to truly work the leader must be trusted by the others, and that means playing together for quite a while. I don't think they're meant to be implemented in such a way that members have to follow the given commands; allows room for ingenuity and quick thinking.
Good point. Maybe if the cue was tied into the mute button, so if you mute the leader you mute the sound. But then again who would figure that out.
On a side note: dude, you gotta invest in a headset like tritton or turtle beach, as long as its 7.1 and uses fiber optics. It'll change everything for you. Just remember quality cost money so don't skimp out. And just go with wired not wireless. |

SGT Garrisson wrote:i ignore my ceo's squad orders on occastion because it needs to be done if he and the squad is defending be ill cut lose and swap to scout suit and sneak behind the enemy and hack another point creating a spawn point
this in turn can case the enemy to turn there atention from my squad mates giving them time to rep and reload
its not all about 4 members focusing fire together its about them working together if i had not cut and hacked another null cannon forcing the enemy to devide we may have lost the match
even when redlined 3 members fighting along side blueberries can draw enuff attention for a scout to get a hack on a null and drop an uplink in a hidden location turning the tides
That's a different scenario though. What happened to me was more like hide and go seek. |
