Or whatever word you want to use. I flew out with a viper and was able to go on endlessly, well until my 20 seconds ran out, at least. So the entire map is there for us, it is just covered in a blanket of red-zone. This has me confused, CCP can either: a) Open up the map for full usage, or b) Cut out all the pieces we aren't using to free bandwidth, etc. and give us a smoother game.
But instead they are just sitting on this massive amount of land that we can't use. Yes, some of you say, but we don't have 24v24 yet, so a massive map would be a little too big. I'm just suggesting they open up SOME of it, I mean we are barely using a fraction of the map if you open up your Neocom and zoom out, so why not use twice the fraction of a map, or maybe thrice? Would that be too much? I think not. |

Bigger plans ahead. Right now focus group on in small tight corners combat.
In the future MCC commanders will have to mobilize the MCC into attacking position and then make the docking maneuvers while fighters support and he lays down support structures on the ground to help pave the way with mobile infantry. |

I'm thinking that either the whole map will be opened to us, or there will be multiple battles on the map at the same time. When you when/lose a battle you can move to support another fight. |

Map don't "use bandwidth". You only download them once when you have to get the map update.
They do use memory, but the map system is using MegaTexture which means parts of the map you are not using / nearby are loaded with less detail and therefore take up less memory anyway.
CCP is actually placing multiple map areas on the same terrain geometry just in different areas. I guess that might be a clever way to let them have more complex map horizons when in actuality you are seeing a different map area that boarders the one you are playing on. This is not very apparent in the current build's maps, but it was in previous ones. |

I personally think it will be similar like on Battlefield 3. When you managed to take a objective you move on to another area with a new objective. This will probably come in some kinda variation. |

This^
Also if you look at the old CODEX peaks map they are putting different buildings into this same "map" so CCP is testing the "socket" function. Is my guess. When we will be able to build our own districts. They're letting us use/see these 'Installations"and get familiar with them.

A lot of information about how the UR3E works can be found here http://www.unrealengine.com/udk/ and the old UR3 came with a similar Toolkit.
