I've been playing the gameshow for a while now, and maybe I haven't rehabilitated fully yet. But there are some large issues I wish to bring up.
-On spawn selection, I go to pick a drop suit fitting, only to change my mind after about two seconds. While running through the list, I am suddenly deployed, in a place very familiar - one of the starter points behind the red zone. Only problem is, I wasn't in the right one. I was about a kilometer inside the red zone! Knowing it fruitless, I start running anyway. You can guess the rest. -I redeploy with a cheaper drop suit, to find myself outnumbered and a freaking tank just patrolling. Having no good AV fits (an oversight on my behalf which I will remedy quickly) I was purely at its mercy. Looking at the character list, it was 4 on 2, with me on 2. And they had a tank. Later, some people joined with about 4 bars on MCC armor. Just like that, we managed to take many of the objectives, only being stopped at the destruction of our MCC. Is thatGǪ Fair? -In an ambush match there were 3 tanks. And I kept spawning in front of them. *sigh* -A better example of how this SHOULD have played out, is I was chasing a tank with a swarm launcher (starter fit) only to be sniped. Aggravating, but good team work, even if, again, our team was heavily outnumbered, but they were being strategical, not overwhelming.
CCP, please. PLEASE sort this out. I had to rage quit in that last battle, I admit to my grievous shame. Teams being unbalanced is not cool, and vehicle spam added on top doesn't help. I put this in feedback, because I am aware of the numerous threads already talking about this.

P. S. oh, and I was in a LAV when suddenly I lost 70% off shield when I was behind the red zone. I was in midair, so I thought maybe I had gotten fall damage, just too early. But I made the jump again, and no damage. Doubt it was an enemy attack, but I really don't know. |

That Skirmish match ending to MCC destruction is the point in that matchmode, so I don't see why this would be issue. Now there is this problem whith not enough players to populate these instant battles all the time, so we get this uneven numbers in player count. But that can be avoided once we gt larger playerbase to full all matches in all 3 battleservers. Also relating tho this is that that other team propably qued to that match as a full squad of 4. Now if your side came to match individually this can happen.
But what are the alternatives in this case? Queing up untill there is individuals enough to do evenly populated match or groups of similar size queing up the same kind of battle at the same time.
Also it has been stated in Fanfest 2012 that excluding hisec(pubmatches) there is intentional drive to allow uneven matches to take place. (This is in corporation contracts)If there isn't players to defent or not enough to wield full squad then so be it.
Agreed, and to be honest I can't offer many solutions. All I know is, from a player perspective, something is seriously wrong here. It's CCP's call to change it or not, but for the wider audience, instant battles will be the way to go, and if this is the response they get, I'm afraid they won't like it very much. That's why I put this in Feedback, despite all the bugs I've listed. And beside, MCC's are bigger than some starships - I'm sure they're not cheap. Skirmish in future will have to be a very drawn out method of gameplay otherwise no corp will risk sending in a MCC.
Anyways, I don't know, I just know that Skirmish has terrible balancing, I don't have a mic and no plans in getting one soon so no corp battles there, but also that Skirmish gives the most SP and ISK.
