Ar per your question about population in FW I can't say, but the thing about individual capsuleers race is irrelevant.
This is because in EVE and in DUST(atleast eventually) it doesent matter what race you are, you can still signup to fight for any faction as long as other conditions are met, standings et al.
And what goes for the whole population in EVE, back in the day there were game mechanics that made it so that one race got by default abilities that made them THE race to pick. Not anymore though. |

And one thing to note about EVE population and race is that THE largest trading hub Jita is in Forge region that is in Caldari space, so there are alot of alts that are there just to follow marcets and spam local. And since starting in that region makes travelling to there more smother, that might be one reason also. |

As for the ammarr vs minmatar I haven't been down that ways in a while, considering I am shoot on sight down there..
Last I heared Amarrians were pretty beaten down, but that doesen't say much of the population size in that faction.
edit:
One place whre one could maybe get populatin info about FW is by asking this from CSM FW representative Hans Jagerblitzen by sending him RL email or in EVE evemail.
Or if one is in Twitter, there is one CCP dev that specialices in numbers/stats etc. But alas, I can't recall his name or twitter handle. |

I found this interesting site/chart to look concerning FW population. http://facwarstats.appspot.com/ But I'm not sure how this chart gathers it's info. |

I would presume that that sudden decline in FW population is due to some major 0.0 alliance leaving FW to go back to 0.0. This would be because forexample in summer there were this Delve 2012 campain and some alliances were driven out of their home systems and lost alot of ISK and assets, so they went to FW to cecoup that capital.
And since in summer the FW was THE new big moneymaking thing in EVE, that would be logical. |

Iron Wolf Saber wrote:Eve online uses advanced API information to pull data and present it to the rest of the world. CREST is a new data sharing format that dust 514 and many many other applications people outside of eve could use. For example they could use this data in this chart then display it on the eve online star chart and you can leiasurely mouse over it and it show you a detailed battle report, slide a bar on the bottom and get a time line.
Yea I know. I was just unsure if those charts would count in player corporations that are aligned to towards certain faction or just the NPC faction militias. But again I haven't dabbled into FW my self eventho I have EVE char. Granted she is only 4months old.
edit:
Funny quote from that CREST API dev trial licence agreement:
Quote:12. GENERAL PROVISIONS
12.1. Force Majeure. If either Party should fail in the performance of any obligation under this License Agreement, other than payment, by reason of acts of God, strikes, lockouts, labor troubles, inability to procure materials, restrictive government laws or regulations, acts of terrorism, planetary bombardment, or other cause, without fault and beyond the reasonable control of the Party obligated (financial inability excepted), that Party shall be granted an extension to perform its obligations hereunder equal to the time the underlying cause prevented performance. Should any obligations of the other Party be dependant upon this PartyGÇÖs performance, such obligations shall be similarly extended. |
