I am basically 2 ps3's behind so I have the 80 gb system.
my fear is by the end of this I'll need to buy a new freaking ps3 just to hold the game.
as is I cant install the new patch unless I can find 3 gb of space to free up. |

You can delete the install and download the client again. It shrinks the size quite nicely. |

I have one of those as well. It has a 320GB drive in it now. Today you should be able to put 500GB (5400RPM) in for pretty cheap.
Just check out the PSN on how to transfer your data files. It will cost you some time but that should be it, past the drive I mean. |

From what i've heard, you'd be quite pleased if you buy a SSD for your PS3. You'd improve how much space you have and how fast it is. |

Use your PS3 for Dust and get an Xbox for everything else. Atleast you dont have to **** about with 100 hours worth of downloading patches and updates to and 1 million gig of space for everything then. |

Not sure if non PS+ users can do it, but you can house some important save files in cloud servers offered by sony, change the hard drive, then access the cloud servers whenever you need files from that particular game again.
I haven't upgraded yet, but if i need to that's what i'll be doing. It's not too hard to make space though, go into 'game utility' and delete games you dont play anymore, it doesnt **** up the save files (save files are seperate) or trophies, or anything like that. Games just tend to install themselves into the system partially or fully when you play them, deleting them can make a tooon of space.
Played an 80g since it came out and play a **** ton of games, i know what i'm doing in this regard when it comes to space crunching.
To your actual question however, yeah, I'm a bit scared to for the full featured game, but w/e, ill find a way and if that means finally getting a new HD, that i will do. |

Only PS+ get the 1GB of extra cloud space. Non users get free internet usage - whoo! :) |
