Looking for one. Some what new eve player. in buckingham server flying around trying to figure out this OB thingy
What type of ships recommended for OB
What type of weapon systems to use IE Tech II Hybrid Small 150's?
What type of ammo to use
How to find where you can do OB (map, FW map?)
Do you need special equipment on your ship to scan/communicate with ground troups
Ive been looking around, not much luck |

Nobody has posted yet and i'm not trying to troll, but wouldn't you have more luck asking this question on the EVE forums or maybe contacting another player on the EVE test server and asking them in game?

That is a good point. I'm sure there must be a forum for the EVE Test Server somewhere but i'm sorry i can't tell you where to find it.

Join the LFOB channel in EVE. I'm sure they will be more than happy to bring you up to speed.
The easier answers are.
Consider using a Destroyer
Small Turrets: I was told by those that have already used the orbitals that meta level of the turrets is currently not an issue.
Tactical Ammo (the BPO's are seeded so you'll have to make them, though I bet the folks in LFOB might hook you up)

My thoughts are not happy thoughts when I read about Lannister wanting to perform OB.

The Dust 514 test server is Singularity and not Buck (EVE only test server).
What type of ships recommended for OB
-Anything that can fit a small turrent (destroyers are common)

-Small systems for the small ammo (link above list seeded markets on page 3, I think)
What type of ammo to use
-Special Orbital Small Hybrid/Projectile/Crystal (no missiles).
How to find where you can do OB (map, FW map?)
- So spread out, you have to arrange with corporation on Dust'
-You have to be in Faction Warfare (currently) and the faction has to match contract.
-Currently Dust players show on the Star Map when looking at Docked/In Space characters, but Corp battles don't take place in those systems, however, you can make contacts on Local with Dust players.

- Gut reaction is no. I can click on districts on planets, when above the planets within FW map system, but no battles present. I have not been able to arrange a OB with Dust corps yet. |

I did learn swarm launcher 3 and i giggle when they blow up. Darkside launchers are fun! |
