It is an RPG, but with an FPS skin.
They will connect Dust to EVE online at some point, so just hang on. What you want is coming....SOON(tm) |

Very true but I wish that there was free roaming and the battles that were won had an impact.

I want something similar to the citadel like mass effect. Essentially it will be home for dust, but with more immersion. |

Not sure how you'd walk to different planets or solar systems......or even walk between planets since you'd be in space, and it's a massively long way between planets. |

In at least one other thread that I know of (regarding suit cosmetics iirc) some other players, I'm assuming native Eve players, have said that it would be, or is going to be, wierd seeing Dust mercs walking around in the same areas as Eve capsuleers. I don't know if that will ever happen, but I hope it does. |

What would be awesome is living in big space cruiser things and when you went to fight should ride in a drop ship and eve players would drive you. Plus living on big cruisers would add to more social activity

Warbarges will supposedly be EVE. Nobody actually lives, lives on ship except for crew in lore. EVE ships have a habit of going boom. |
