you thoughts? Pros: more slots for things like repair guns, nanoinjectors, droplinks, etc. And decent cpu/pg for fitting. Cons: double up your tank because you are squishy as hell. not as squishy as scouts, but still pretty bad. no real role bonus for doing logi things. assaults can repair just as much as a logibro.
Don't forget the speed. faster then a heavy, slower then an assault.
i do have a few fits close to 600hp and an armor rep, with all 3 equipment slots filled only costing only 24,360 isk. so its easy to make money...for me anyhow. Everyone has their own style. |

Armor just slows you down. A logi is always constantly moving. You dont want to be slowed down. I have 345 shields and 174 armor on my A series. Just put an armor repair or a cardiac stimulant or a speed enhancer or a hacking mod. Forget the nanohives. Nanite injectors, repairs tools and remote explosives are the way to go. Proximity mines if you have the proto suit. Carry a support weapon such as a laser or MD or sub mach for CQC.
That is why i said in previous posts that everyone has their own style. my fits work great for me, maybe not fo everyone. Logi is all i use and have found what works best for me. being slower just gives me one more reason to keep moving, it's not too hard to keep from dying as long as i don't stop. i rarely run solo, so normally there is at least a couple of assault guys to compinsate for my lack of speed. i hope we get chance to play togather and i'm sure you'll see speed isn't eveything.  |
