Can experienced logi's tell me some of the pros and cons of the logi suits?
currently I run assualt and Mass Driver/ Shotgun... but I find that I need more PG/CPU to have a better Nanohive, and I wouldnt mind helping out with Repping and picking people up (former MAG player)
you thoughts? |

you thoughts? Pros: more slots for things like repair guns, nanoinjectors, droplinks, etc. And decent cpu/pg for fitting. Cons: double up your tank because you are squishy as hell. not as squishy as scouts, but still pretty bad. no real role bonus for doing logi things. assaults can repair just as much as a logibro.
So really if I just want a better nanohive I should just invest in the PG/CPU reducing sp's for the nanohive? basically?
Logibros are slower/faster? |

..... The logistics suit is geared to support, not fight. The problem is, in order to be an effective fighter, you need to back off on the support, and in order to be an effective support you need to back off on the fighting.
Basically, you can use the logistic's extra cpu/pg to use a better nanohive, but that doesn't give you a whole lot of room to also equip a repair tool and a nanite injector. Also, if you decide to equip armor modules, you end up becoming slower.
I am a medic who uses the mass driver and can tell you that the exo-5 is the most you can equip while still having enough to fit three equipment; however, this is still very effective and rakes in the skill points.
If anything, don't worry about having a repair tool if you just want to focus on killing things. Use just the nanohive and a basic nanite injector to save cpu/pg for better modules that will help you stay alive.
Sounds like the last part is what I may be going for and I'm used to the EXO-5 close to getting the freedom but wont have enough sp in my suits I can run a A series with a decent nanohive but if i get a bad game I have to go back to the raven because the A series dropsuit gets expensive
I have a compact nanohive on my Raven suit but the bad part of that is you only carry one and unless your repping your armor. it doesnt stay around long |

Still just not sure.... I'll have to just try it and post my results...
personally I'll be going more for a killer that can pick people up. I do have remote explosives and they are useful... I currently run 315 armor (enhanced armor plate) on my assault and average a game of 15-5
the reason for the armor (for me anyways) is because just in cause that blue dot runs in front of my flux grenade and i get all of my shields taken off at least i have something to run with till they kick back in. |
