I very rarely see anyone use flux grenades, probably because it only does damage to shields. Here is one example of what to use 'em for; Mass driving. If your caught against a group of players, toss a few flux grenades and then scatter the group with your mass driver, taking a few with ya as well. Just because it only takes out shields doesn't mean it has a wide variety of uses. Plus it's also funny to watch a shield stacked player run his/her butt off because his/her shields are down in an instant from a flux grenade.
What are your thoughts on flux grenades everyone? Do you ever use 'em, or just typically go for locus grenades only? |

Na, I see people use mass drivers only, and they'll usually use locus grenades or AV grenades with that kind of weapon for some reason. Only one instance I've seen someone other than me use a mass driver with flux grenades, and that person I killed a couple times with it. So he used it, and found it useful too instead of using a mass driver on it's own. |

I have very rarely seen anyone apart from my friend and I use flux grenades. Maybe the odd person a couple times during a week, but then the person will run off or just keep spamming grenades thinking that they'll kill me... |

The OP i just using them a intended.Flux's are AOE grenades for assaulting groups to weaken up shields before pushing.
Agreed, also if you have slug based weapons, like a charger rifle or anti-armor weapons such as mass drivers or the 'toxin' smg, it'll do pretty well. I'm used to someone pulling a heavy mg or stacking so much on shields to where you only scratch 'em with bullets alone lol. Very rarely anyone stacks armor, so a flux grenade and some well placed shots will hurt 'em good. |
