Dumb question...
Is it just there for show? Or could this eventually have some sort of function? Some kind of scanning/tracking idk |

Probably just for show. I just realized the logis right now are the only suits with "eye thingamabobs".
If I remember correctly as far as scanning goes, logis are actually the second best when it comes to detection stats; after scouts. |

the stats are as follows (the numbers are the same for both scan precision and dropsuit profile)
45 - scout 50 - assault and logi 65 - heavy
no clue about the aestics of the suits. the caldari suit doesnt even have eyes, so i'm not sure there is an advantage to having any amount of "eyes" besides making me want to stack profile dampeners in the low slots and precision enhancers in the high slots and play at being Snake... |

I always just imagined that the clone used for Logi's has a Bionic eye built into the socket. On another note though Surgeons used to wear that head band mirror that would go over there eye it would reflect light down onto the body cavity. Its very synonymous image for doctors. Ill give an example.

Like I said a the bionic eye helps him to see microscopic things like circuits and cells since he deals with both |

I always took it to be some sort of scanner too, then again it could be some sort of precision visual enhancement device remember the Logi dropsuit was originally just a welding suit used by the Minmatar. When the top brass wanted a Logi suit and were about to drop big bucks on it one guy said no, we already have one, called in the mechanic, had him show what it could do, a few modifications later and behold, logi suit.
Hmmm.... "After a few modifications to allow it to interface directly with an NIS implant, the logistics suit was complete" Maybe the patch is that NIS implant it speaks of. |
