Psychology: Lets face it, snipers will be hated with a burning fiery passion. It comes with the territory. Don't think its just a bad rep, the campers racking up the kills was never the reason why the sniper role is hated upon; it only added fuel to the inferno. A good sniper is able to hold down the enemy from his or her position with little effort. If they try to fight back it is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. A good sniper is literally a ghost.
moving on, we may be immortal but the perishable things in our dust life are what we hold sentimental value towards. that gun you've liked for a long time? same rule applies. even that bad-ass fitting you've put together? doesn't matter.
Picture this, your moving on towards the the objective, your feeling pretty good about yourself, MCC is taking little damage then... BOOM! shields are gone, half your armor is taken out. best part about it? you don't know where it came from. sure an arrow points out where the damage was but that's just in the general direction. in the back of your head you panic, you start to run, bunny hopping, to find a place to bunker down, get your shields back up but its too late, in the middle of your second jump a second shot rings out, BOOM your dead. sound familiar? Now imagine a team of snipers doing their job. Let that sink in for a while.
4 snipers, 25 rounds per sniper, 10 kills at minimum per sniper times 4 equals 40 kills and double that in kill assists. that equals 120 kills by a sniper/sniper assists. that's easily 4/5ths of a total clone count per game, should the blueberries capitalize on that advantage.
That, is why we have a bad rep. |

^U Mad? >:] sounds like that happened to you Lol I kidd, I kidd
but honestly, some of us know that they are not equipped for close range combat, with only a pistol or an SMG for self defense in the even that someone manages to suprise attack us. lets not forget to mention that some sniper's fittings are paper thin, thus making us extremely squishy. doesn't stop some of us though.
if it were me I'd inform my squad that someone is capping an objective, they would make the effort to try and take it back, while i provide long-range support, alerting them of enemies heading their way, while thinning the herd.
Safe hunting,
BTW if your trolling, and im feeding a troll, then I'll feed you to death. |

I agree on all points, and i actually would say thanks for bringing it up. im semi-dedicated to a sniper fitting, but i might try going logi-bro first get that up before i grab the sniper rifle.
but to answer your question: yes i've been on a team with 1/3rd of snipers once, we lost easily but my squad and I were at the top of the charts.
Here's my way:
I never huddle up with a group of snipers and start competing for WP. Im a lone wolf when I snipe, but my priority is towards my squad and the people around them. no one else. if they decide to defend B till the last man, i'll be sure to thin out the herd as much as i can. If they make a dash for C although they are going to run into a large blaster installation? i'll throw myself out there as bait to distract or if im close by, i'll try to eliminate the gunner. if we are losing badly and they make a suicide charge towards any objective, then i'll drop the sniper rifle and use the AR
Thats my answer.
Good Hunting.
P.S: if we ever squad up, i'll be sure to keep an eye out
