If this has already been confirmed i apologize.
So lets say youre in a match and your team is winning. Everything is going smoothely got all the objectives, and youre just mopping up. Then the game changer, the enemy calls in a tank and its mowing everyone down and the enemy is starting ro gain ground.
You view the tanks stats and begin to smile, "thats just a toy" you say to yourself and decide to call in your tank. After playing tag for five minutes your tank utterly decimates the enemy tank and the battle resumes at its old pace. Now youre bored, youve got nothing to do and youre tank is too clumsy and slow to really bother infantry.
You cant abandon the poor thing. It may fall into enemy hands or be destroyed. Giving it to the blue dots is just as bad. Ehat do you do then? Die of boredom? Hell no.
I suggest a repacker module. You put it on the vehicle and activate it, once activated a RDV pilot comes and takes it away. Now being this is a game of war of course there has to be some cons.
The module would eject the occupants, shutting down the vehicle. You cannot cancel it once it takes effect (maybe a 15 second activation time to cancel it if you accidently hit it). It can only be activated in the actual battle zone, cannot be done in any "safe" areas. And it would take the RDV pilot 60 seconds to obtain said vehicle.
Some of you will scoff at the idea stating that its ******** because who wants to repack their vehicle. I always want to, i use my vehicles and normally find that after it has served its purpose it is often more of a liability then an asset.
Thats my idea hope you all like it.
TL;DR: not my problem shouldn't be so lazy. |

I can see where you are coming with this... but this should be carefully balanced otherwise people would just abuse this and use it to save that costly tank.
For example, you have a costly tank and you see that enemy has rolled superior firepower and you are almost certain that you have lost the tank. You know that you have enough buffer in it to last long enough to survive the extraction. So you call it off.
But on the other hand; Gotta love to see the tears of some one that evacs the tank and just when RVD is taking it off, blow up the RVD and the tank with it.. :D Priceles. |

Lol oh the rage.
But yes that was the initial point. This way they cant just retreat to safety and use this as a get out of jail free card. |

If implemented, I'd like to see this as a pilot suit module only, instead of a vehicle module.
So, if you're rejoining infantry, you'll have to make a supply depot run to swap into an infantry suit. |

I don't think it should be a module, just a function that people can call upon. Would work even better if only the owner had control over their vehicles. |

This would be a cool unction of the pilot suit acually. +1 |

here's an Idea. have a RDV deliver an armored container with a door. once your vehicle is in the container, it can't self destruct and can only be retrieved by the owner. additionally if the enemy is able to get to the container they can hack it or destroy it.

But on the real some kind of armored garage that could be deployed in battle would be awesome. Maybe it would anyway. I dunno, probably one of those things that'd be just too much stuff to be abused. |

If the RDV can drop a tank without a metal container, then it doesn't need one to pick it up.
I agree with the longer "hooking up" time, to prevent panic escaping with your tank.
Also, I still think this would be a cool built in function of the pilot suit, otherwise a high slot module.

why not have a landing pad where you park the tank for evac? that way you can't just panic and evac a tank, and your team has to hold a vital asset. |
