Okay, so I want to get out of the way immediately that I don't think turrets capable of taking out infantry easily should be buffed at all. I really do think though that there should be some specifically design AV installations with harder shields or something, so they can take at least as much damage as a well fitted HAV - the catch being that they're rubbish at killing people on foot. Maybe make it so they're like the swarm launchers in needing to lock onto their targets (not so the rounds track or anything though!) - like a long range cannon fixing its aim before firing or something... idk...
But yeah, the idea being that at the moment a decent railgun will 2 shot an installation but a railgun installation will need what 4 hits to take out a tank and can't move to avoid the return fire. |

Seems sensible that you've limited this to AV installations. I'm not sure on the lock-on part of the suggestion. Good rail tanks will 1 shot turret installations, or did during Codex.
I would think another way of getting the same effect, is the ability to call in turrets instead of orbital strikes. |

I think that turrets in general should get an hp boost, it takes nearly nothing from a forge gun or swarm launcher to take them any of them out, completely defeats the purpose of them as they often barely last any time at all. |

This man is right. Defensive installations should be far more resilient, more so than a HAV. I mean, they are immobile and can be hacked. Giving them more health seems like a logical balancing alteration. |
