Sometimes aiming high doesn't even give a higher arc. You have a fixed throwing arc, and aiming higher ONLY affects the force of your throw.
Also, it REALLY sucks to lose power in a throw because you want to aim on a downward angle.
What I really want is the current build's "flat" throwing arc (or somewhere between this build and Codex, but leaning towards the new arc) with the consistent throw force used in Codex. Then we need a new grenade variant.
When the beta first started, they had timed fuses on allg renades. At some point before I showed up, they added the "thukker" with a contact fuse. In Chromosome, we have new fuse mechanics on non-contact grenades. Original grenade mechanics with a timed fuse need to come back as the standard grenade type. Contact fuse grenades need to remain. The new grenade mechanics should be a new "hybrid fuse" grenade type with a contact trigger for a short timed fuse. |

They aren't a standard timed fuse, they're a contact-triggered timed fuse. That's what the patch notes say, and it's also how they work in practice. I suggested calling them "hybrid" because it's shorter and still gets the point across. |
