When blue-logi hit you with nanite injector in the middle of fight under heavy fire you know that is no way to stand up and take cover.
Now you will have choice to lay little longer (to the limit of your herat beating) and decide if get up or die... Just little X to hit... nothing more. |

Interesting idea. How about instead when you are down, you can very slowly drag your body around to try to get to a safe place (limited to normal bleed out time)? |

So you are just asking for the ability to play dead whie your shields regenerate?
I'd vote for that as long as it was clear to both you and the medic that the injection was successful. |

I assume that you'd be vunerable to enemy fire while playing possum? You just wouldn't get up? I'd suggest that your profile should be dropped massively until you get up too. |

No need for shield/armor regen.. you are laying as almost dead... You have few more sec to decide when get up and all your fit starts regen from this moment.
I saw yesterday 'medic' that get up one guy 5 times... in one place. Right under heavy fire. That was cruel and stupid. If ppl move away this guy can have chance to get up.
In this scenario he just inject once and go elsewhere. Enemies go after him and this poor guy have its chance. |

At the moment, you get a prompt:
Press square to call for help, circle to bleed out.
When revived, they could inject you, but the nanites could require a trigger from the "user" they're inserted to, changing that square prompt to "revive" instead of call for help.
Seems logical enough for me. And that could be used to add another layer to the Logi role - you get SOME of your revive points for providing the revive, but only get the full count when the target USES the revive option. This is how it worked in Brink (not the most popular game, but there were good points, and that's one of them), except that you tossed a syringe to your "dead" friend and they injected themselves with it.
Most importantly, with this change, trying to farm revive points from players in "obvious sniper target is obvious" land won't work. The dead guy will just stay dead, because he knows reviving isn't going to help. That means you only get the "revive given" points, not the "revive accepted" points you'd get for being a Logi for someone in a position where reviving was a good idea. |
