All Aur dropsuits would have an ISK price tag as well. get rid of this "elitiest system" and make this game open to everyone in terms of purchasing, no I am not talking about the player market I am talking about the regular market.
Having this would draw even more people in, I dont care what you AUR users think, All of you guys dont have a right to speak because you dont earn anything, you pay your way through the game. They pretty much do don't they? Admittedly, they tend to have a slightly higher skill requirement though.
I've not checked through everything, but I've certainly seen equivalent or better ISK stuff than all of the AUR stuff that I've looked at. Also, when the secondary market comes on line, it will be possible to buy AUR items off players for ISK. |

And while CCP won't be selling the guns for ISK, the player market WILL allow us to sell AUR gear (weapons, dropsuits, UVTs, whatever else we have) for ISK to other players. and no ones going to do that, no AUR user is going to give up their precious "elitiest" weapons. Of course they will! I certainly would.
I don't understand why you consider them to be "elitist"? |

DarkShadowFox wrote:lower cpu/ PG requirements make better fits, combined with a BPO militia suit, yeah.. The only BPO militia suits are the skin weave suits. They're not available through AUR, they were only available as gifts to beta testers.
The BPO suits that you can buy with AUR, the Raven assault suit, the Valor scout suit and the Sever Logi suit are all standard suits, there are many ISK suits that are better than them. In fact, with all the drop suits, the best prototype suits are ISK only.
As far as weapons go, which ones have lower CPU and PG requirements? every single AUR weapon uses considerable more CPU and PG that the ISK weapons in the same skill bracket, and are the same as weapons from the next skill bracket up.
Forge guns - the Grimlock has a far higher CPU/PG req than the Kaalakiota and is, stat for stat, the same as the Ishukone. Assault Rifles - The Codewish is broken, true. It's the same as the Duvolle but for nearly half the CPU/PG req. Sniper Rifles - The Downwind and the Genesis, both have equivalent ISK versions. Swarm Launchers - The Darkside is either matched, or out matched by all three ISK prototypes. Submachine guns - the Spitfire has a considerable lower CPU/PG req than the Ishukone, but it's stats are not as good. Scrambler Pistols - Burnscar is the same as the Visiam, Carthum is better AND has lower CPU/PG req. HMG - the Broadside is the same as the Boundless, and the Freedom and the Six Kin are better. Mass Drivers - the Cyclone is the same as the Freedom, Boundless and Core Breach are better. Shotguns - The Cerberus is the same as the CreoDron, the Duvolle and the Allotek are both better. Laser Rifles, Nova Knives and Grenades have no AUR versions.
So, if you want to play with a Tactical Assault Rifle, you're best off using an AUR item, but for everything else in the entire game, there are ISK equivalents, if not improvements. |
