Is it just me or does the new aim have a larger dead zone on the controller? Somethings different can't put my finger on it and I don't think I like it.... |

I would like to see a greater level of customization. Being able to independently adjust each value for each plane, and for both hip fire and ADS is necessary. We should also be able to adjust the deadzone for hip fire and ADS. |

I hate the sensitivity; It is nearly impossible to line up a sniper now(not to mention snipers are useless for ambush with the new map sizes). |

Actually, that sounds much more like what I've been experiencing. Glad to see it's not just me. |

I haven't had a chance to use a sniper rifle yet but I was wondering how much worse it was made. Evidently much worse. |

Are any of you Kb'ers having problems ? To me it looks as if they made the aim so it will work better with KB which kinda defeats the purpose of it being a console game. Can we say ironic? Exclusive ps3 game with mouse and keyboard.lol Tell me if you use KB or controller. I want to know if both or just one group of us is having issues with the aim. |

Check the Move controller settings.
Turn deadzone down to 0 on x and y axis.
If that doesn't help, I don't know. But it worked in E3, and was still working in Codex, so it probably works now. |

Auto aim was put in games to reduce the gap between KB/Mouse and controller. It was abused by quick-scopers.
> AA w/mouse in all modern FPS games is worse than just using a mouse with AA turned off.
I can't tell the difference between AA and no AA. I usually roll on controller with it off just out of habit. If you like AA, just imitate what it does. If you can do better than AA, turn it off and do better ;)
One more point: Most good FPS PC gamers are used to being able to do a full 360 degree turn without moving their wrist. That means the sensitivity is so high, that moving your mouse three to five centimeters in one direction will make you perform a full three hundred and sixty degree turn. Right now, from what I've heard, three to five cm will make you do a sixty degree turn. It's been crazy hard for me to get used to the slow controller, I'd probably die on a mouse.
edit:
by quick scope I mean quick scope, not quickly aiming down a scope and firing. Quick scope = you fire just when the cross hairs intersect so you get the auto-aim kicking in without actually having to aim. If you can use the scope to see, you're doing it wrong :p.
ps that doesn't seem to be a problem in this game. You need to aim, but some people can just do it quickly.
edit again:
but it is really fun if you do a qs match with others xD |

That's never going to be "fixed" no matter how high they let you turn your aim sensitivity, because there's a hard cap on turning speed, which is there specifically to prevent KB/M players from having an actual un-counterable and game-breaking advantage over sixaxis users. |

Read first sentence again please.
One is going to always have a slight advantage over the other. |

I prefer analog movement over WASD. Sixaxis gives CQC players an advantage over KB/M.
If I was a sniper, I'd prefer mouse aim, but I mostly use Shotguns and SMGs, so that precision is less of a concern.
If mouse aim let you insta-spin, then you'd have an ACTUALLY UNFAIR advantage, instead of a SLIGHT, but STILL PLAYABLE one that only applies to certain playstyles.
EDIT: Also, I play with auto-aim turned off, because I find that it throws my aim off more often than it helps. |

For what it's worth, I haven't really noticed a difference with the sniper rifle aiming other than possibly needing to turn AA off. I'm still tagging running and sprinting targets on the fly... But that may just be the way I do it. Large leeds and wait for them to run into the round. For other weapons there does seem to be something off about the aiming. I was chalking it up to needing more practice with the new controls and recoil myself. |
