When some AR guy shots me from distance i turn around and kill him for his insolence. And dont say that the laser rifle should have recoil thats just silly cause its a laser. Oh and have fun with your Tac AR

Honestly I like the feel much better now, took me a few minuets to adjust but I don't mind it at all (except for close-range, as it's a little harder to effectively hip-fire now). Will likely take out the LR or try a MD tonight. My guess is the LR will be at a much better advantage for medium-long range now, since the AR no longer emits a perfectly straight line of insta-kill bullets (which is a good thing IMO, and I am first and foremost an AR user).

I bet you simply climb up a building and start spamming them from above like a scrub. And since when is the laser rifle considered a easy mode gun? You need to aim with it and keep it on target. While with a mass driver you just shot somewhere next to a enemy and still get a hit. And yeh i spammed dropships nothing wrong about that. Allways using that what works the best or simple sayd: i adapt and doesnt die. Now have fun with your mass driver cause your TAC AR+Modded controller combo has beeing rendered useless. WASTED MONEY

Only read threat was someone with a Tactical Assault Rifle. Or a heavy with a HMG that got a little too close. Other than that the Laser Rifle makes short work of everything. Which is a weird thing to figure out how to balance. Its inability to do anything at close range is negated if you have an SMG.

I can confirm this- if cinnamon shoots you at long range, he'll wipe you away pretty fast, and if you get close his SMG rips you to shreds. I only get him if I'm using a heavy.

What The normal ARs don't quite have the range for laser rifles. Lasers optimal starts at like 60m, a basic assault rifles optimal ends before 40. Tact rifles were the only thing that could make them keep their heads down, and now the tact rifle is too unwieldy for many to use effectively(myself included). A heated up laser would out DPS a Tact before, but the ability to fire off multiple shots in rapid succession made it a decent enough fight. Now it's just like "holy **** this laser is melting me and I can't do anything about it" I don't think lasers are OP though. The range is so finicky on them, it balances out imo

Trying to face off against it at range is the absolute worst decision you could make. Instead of complaining about how you got killed, like it's a crime against nature, i implore you to try and utilize different tactics for removing them. Advisable Options: -Get behind them -Get close to them without being seen -get above them, they don't aim straight up well Above all avoid ranged Combat, most of the time it's not like they can chase you. Avoid open fields if there is a known Laser Rifle user. Laser Rifles are no more dangerous than the old Assault Rifles, which i have already grown accustomed to avoiding. Keep the faith.

What Tac AR has the same scope it used to have, but it's less effective because they added recoil to all the ARs. It's not JUST the sights that were changed. The scope removal is a big part of the change, but it's not the only thing that's gone. Also, on-topic, Sniper Rifles still bear Laser Rifles once set up. it's just more difficult to get set up as a Sniper unless you have competent teammates helping you to do so, either by providing Uplinks, or just being good meatshields while you're getting into position.

Take the same approach you would with a Sniper. Keep out of LoS as much as possible. Also, keep in mind that, even at optimal range, they need to heat up to be truly effective. If they can't do that, you win. Sprint from cover to cover while moving up on them. Break line of sight and flank. Abuse distractions from your teammates as a way to get close, then hit them with SMGs or Shotguns at point-blank, and ARs at mid-range.

A militia assault suit has more overall HP then what you are using. Seriously what is the point in scout suits? Assault suits are better for sniping in my opinion. More base HP, more module slots, more CPU/PG. And dont tell me that sniping is then any different. 1 shot=400HP on my shields simply gone. And the reason why it was quite tricky to hit with a laser properly was because in the last build the sensitivity while ADS'ing was to high and you got off target when you moved the thumbstick.
