I have to assume this is a bug because it wasn't mentioned in the patch notes, so I am posting it here.
The Southpaw control scheme is now missing from the Aerial Vehicles. In fact, there is no other option other than default for all control types. Is this intentional? If so, may I ask why? This is incredibly frustrating for me, as Southpaw is the control scheme that I have always flown with. Forcing me to use default is equivalent to telling me to write with my left hand when I am right-handed. The patch notes even said they added new control schemes so I was eager to see if CCP added Legacy Southpaw...
Please, any clarification on this would be greatly appreciated. |

Ah, that is unfortunate that they removed it because of bugs. The only issue I remember concerning the Southpaw setting was the descend and the module select button were both on R2. It was mildly irritating and restricted some mobility for the pilot, but when its the only way you can fly, it was manageable. Default is not.
I am disappointed in their decision to remove it, because it nullifies a lot of SP that I have put into my character. Oh well. Hopefully they'll be added again soon. And yes, definitely with Legacy. I miss my Legacy Southpaw very much.
