Hello there.
I assume you all noticed that the notification you receive when you're Squad Leader and can use an orbital strike has changed. And imo, it is way too discrete now. Same goes with orders in general. The smaller font seems like a good idea so the HUB isnt too loaded by various informations but using blue makes them way too easy to miss.
My suggestion : try a new font, halfway between the codex one and chromosome"s and stick with the orange color from codex.
It's a minor thing but still, easy and usefull fix imo. |

I think a in game sound notfication or dialogue option would be even better. "Orbital strike is charged and ready, awaiting your orders sir/maam" That would certainly make it know and not clutter the HUD at all. |

Is it still in the same spot? I honestly don't think I've noticed it this build, and I know we've called in several, so it's good I haven't been squad leader yet.
Might be nice to have a persistent icon somewhere, bottom left or right that just sits there and pulses when one is available so even if you miss the message you have a reminder that it's there and waiting. |

It's in the upper right hand corner above the kill feed in blue text.

Yup, I didn't even know I had one until i wished to use one regardless, so I checked and there it was. It is wayyy to easy to miss. I like the idea of an audio notification. |

I liked the way it showed up in codex. It made it hard to miss, especially after you figure out what it is. The first couple times I saw it I didnt know what it was cause I was too busy shooting and didnt have time to read it. But where it is now along with the color makes it really easy to miss. |

i know someone from SI suggested to add an icon for each strike available on the top left part of the screen. I liked the idea but cant find the thread. Guy even uploaded a picture to illustrate its idea. |

But you're right, yeah, the current orbital strike notification is wicked easy to miss. If I didn't have great teammates, I'd never know they were available.
The big damn "YO, DUMMY, YOU GOTS A ORBITAL. USE THAT ****, *****!" box in the corner of a build or two ago was maybe better. The voice-over mentioning it is a good idea, too. |

This would be spot on. I'd couple it with a 10 second flashing icon to be sure. |

Yeah i probably meant discreet lol. I still learn every day.
