Actually they increased recoil (before there was none lol) and bullets don't always 100% hit their target at longer ranges.
Its a tiny difference, but its noticeable.

Well, that's what I wanted.
Something like a red dot, so you can still see the weapon but you don't use Iron sights.
Heck, the TAR-21 rifles replacing Israel's M16's and M4's come pre-installed with a Mars sight, so I don't think its too far fetched to have infinite battery red dots 25k years in the future. |

Too be frank, I want something like a red dot as the defualt sights.
This is the future, I doubt they will still use Iron sights. |

Also, I know this is off topic, but the TAR-21 is a sexy-ass gun, and I'd really like to see more bullpup weapons in Dust.

Red dots can fail.
They can be shot off, their battery can go dry, and number of things.
Iron sights are a backup and a must.
A weapon that doesn't have one isn't ever going to be accepted into military service. |
