The way I see it, smg's are closse range weapons. With my sensitivity at 80, when I turn while scoped (at close range) I feel like the speed is that of a sniper. That just doesn't work at the optimal smg range IMO. |

Optimal SMG range is spray-and-pray range.
If you have to ADS, you're firing outside optimal range already.
And I haven't had a problem with the turning speed in that situation yet. Haven't played a lot though, so this may change as time goes on, but for now, I'm leaning towards thinking it's ok (sensitivity 100 here, and deadzone turned to 0) |

When I'm close enough to them (two or three body lengths), scoped turning just isn't fast enough. At least not for me.
Also, what's ADS stand for, and what's "deadzone?" I'm playing on a controller :P |

If you DON'T insist on using ADS in close combat, you'll win easily. If you do, you're negating one of the core advantages of your weapon. But because ADS is now a LOT more accurate than it was previously with the SMG, you can use it effectively at longer ranges than before. |
