I played this evening and the lag is nearly gone, AR is ok. But I really struggle to understand wy the twist on turning down the sensitivity on the mouse, we now have to use half the table to turn, the last build was perfect.
I do hope this is just temporary, if not there will not be many K/M playing. DS3 win |

I agree. The mouse sensitivity is way too low, even with the sensitivity turned all the way up in the PS3 setting it turns way too slow. A good 100-150% increase would be nice. |

You need to play around with it till you find the right speed, and mouse smoothing probably still turns the sensitivity down to unusable levels so if you have that turned on that is why its too slow, since the last patch I've found the sensitivity to be great but I also have a G-5 mouse and can adjust things on the fly.
The scale might be opposite to what you think as well, so try 100 and 0 and go from there. |

Lolmouse smoothing. Turned it on, just to see if it still did that and it took me about 4-5 mouse movements to turn. |

Now all they need is totally customizable controls so that I can map my DS3 properly to use with the mouse. Also, they need to make the thumb button functional on the mouse as well. |

I have to agree and say that mouse controls now suck.
Eventhough the SMG was nerfed in the Codex build it was still fun to use because the mouse controls allowed you to track a moving target reasonably well.
Since this latest build, despite the improvements made I'm finding the controls are so poor that this has to be the worst build to date.
More than anything I'm hoping that CCP revert back to the max sensitivity from the previous build even if the sensitivity settings are broadened to accomodate thouse who found Codex's settings too twitchy. |

The kb/m has to be on a par with ds3 that's why. Not everyone likes to use kb/m (like myself) and it would be an unfair advantage for the people who DO use kb/m vs ds3 if the mouse was at pc level |

last build was the worst for me with the sensitivity hard to tweak and feeling off, this patch has brought it back to what i remember and i'm shooting better then ever, as for DS3 vs KB/M they should improve the DS3 controls not nerf KB/M.
I'm tired of responding to ppl whining about the KB/M vs DS3, get better. |

Ugh, getting better has nothing to do with it, The turn speed on the mouse is waaaay better than it is with the ds3. I know because i use a modified setup that involves a mouse a move navi control and ds3.
The turning speed of my mouse compared to that of the ds3 right stick is light years apart, especially the quick 180s i can do with the mouse that no ds3 player can do unless mapped by CCP which they havent done. So yes your first part of your post is correct they need to improve ds3 controllers but by no means is a person who complains of the adv of a mouse over a ds3 simply QQ, There IS an advantage period. |

Like another poster said before, turn off mouse smoothing and that should help.I thought that the controls were pretty bad too until someone suggested that, now they are much much better. |

How did you get it to work?! I was trying to make that work for the longest, but it wouldn't.Do you have to have the full Move set up?Because I was only using the nav stick and not the actual Move controller.

Thanks for the tips on setup but I've already turned off mouse smoothing and tweaked my settings to maximise sensitivity.

I'm also using the Move Navigation controller with a mouse.
To do this start the game with a standard DS3 and once the game has loaded then turn on the Move Nav controller and change it's ID to that of the DS3 controller used to start the game. |

I have to have my sensitivity turned all the way up with smoothing off, but I find it very comfortable and never have to move the mouse more than a few inches. Last build the sensitivity was so high that if I moved the mouse more than an inch I was doing pirouettes. Aiming took a lot of concentration and a firmly anchored hand. If I moved the mouse more than a millimeter or two I'd wind up aiming 10 feet to the side of where I was trying to shoot.
I'm not using a fancy mouse either, it's a logitech one that came with a keyboard for $30 Canadian. No DPI adjustments available on it...it's as cheap as they come. |
