The active and passive sp boosters are pretty clear if you have mastery of the obvious levelled to 1,

The UVT is an add-on to make it easier to talk between channels (everyone in CORP Chat , Everyone in Squad)

In a perfect world it should. But allowing people to go vocal in any chat they create has an important cost for CCP's network. If corp audio (and squad\team) remains free, we can call ourselves lucky ! |

Honestly I understand what your saying... costs and all
but it feels like it is an aur item for the sake of being an aur item.

You can chat in the squad, team and crop chat channel for free without a UVT. The UVT is for personal created chat channels and local. It's intention is that it will be used for Dust mercs to use voice comms with those in EVE instead of just type chatting to them, hence why it is an aurum item. |

beta test, that's also why the differing durations of UVT are currently the same price, it's all a testing thing |
