Let me begin once more with announcing I am new to DUST 514 and Logistics as well... Although I will state that it is a rewarding job. Everybody can kill by pointing a gun and pulling a trigger, but not everybody can jump into a chaotic situation and aid in their squads survival.
It takes skill to be a good marksman, it takes heart to be a good logibro.
My weapon of choice is a Repair Tool. What it's not a weapon! True. I normally concentrate on my team members and keeping them alive. If the situation is tranquil enough where I can don a weapon, I equip a Mass Driver. It takes some skill to kill with it, but it aids in firing off shots into a group of enemies. Note: Apparently I am the son of a Storm Trooper because I can 't shoot anything to save life. Mass Driver is good for those who lack some accuracy.
During the commencement of a battle, I speak with my comrades in what the overall plan is going to entail. I normally run a suit with Up-Links at first to set up strategic locations for revival unto the battlefield. Afterwards I don my normal suit that comes equipped with Nanonite Injector/ Nano-Hive/ Repair Tool and trail my Squad-mates keeping them alive. If the Up-Links are targeted I jump in with another Up-Link suit and repeat the process.
I know I am not in there to get the best Kill/Death ratio score.
I know I am not there to whine about why I need to "heal" my team.
Being Logibro is a vital role to a squad, some could argue the level or degree of importance, but at least in my opinion, I see the Logibro as the squad member who binds the group together.

True Medic: (Not really what we call ourselves but a generalization in order to give the reader a better idea of what I am going to speak about)
I consider myself a true medic. -Wait! What's a "True Medic?"- I dedicate my efforts in order to keep my squad/team alive. This means that my Mass Driver is just something flashy I hold onto for those -just in case- moments. I understand and can appreciate the concept of launching a few rounds of the Mass Driver into the enemy in order to weaken them, yet I find that if I focus in on my members I serve them better than attempting to play Whack-a-Strawberry. Now, I can reason that everyone has their own play style, I just want to promote being True Medic, 'ere some padawan Logis run unto the field seeking glory through to-the-death combat.
So, what exactly constitutes being a "True Medic?"
I don't have an exact answer -sorry I am still a bit of a newbie myself- yet let me give an overview of what I do for a better understanding. And I shall do so in song....
(Song to: What's Up By: 4 Non Blondes)
Dozen-spawns still alive cloned again Sprinting to get up that great Null Gun For a Hack +100
I realized quickly what I need to do That this radar is covered in Strawberries Dangerous, yet his why my squad needs me
And so I prepare to heal any time When my squad under fire dying around What's in my hand? Nanite injector, itGÇÖs healing time
And so I injectGǪ nanites And I step aside And I see my squad spring up like daisies And I scream from the top of my lungs LetGÇÖs get the healing on!
And I say: HEY! yeah yeaaah, HEY yeah yea I said hey, letGÇÖs get healing on?
And I say: HEY! yeah yeaaah, HEY yeah yea I said hey, letGÇÖs get healing on?
ooh, ooh ooooooooooooooooh ooh, ooh ooooooooooooooooh
and I carry hives, oh my god do I carry nanohives, I try to disperse them, all the time
And I repair, oh my god do I repair I repair all the broken I am a Logibro!
And so I die sometimes When I'm following my squad Just spawn and run after them I am immortal, Kitten death And I, I need to heal
And so I trail the Heavies And I step aside And I watch them burn the strawberries And I scream from the top of my lung Who needs healing?
And I say, hey hey hey hey I said hey, letGÇÖs get healing on?
And I say, hey hey hey hey I said hey, letGÇÖs get healing on?
And I say, hey hey hey hey I said hey, letGÇÖs get healing on?
And I say, hey hey hey hey I said hey, letGÇÖs get the healing on?
ooh, ooh ooooooooooooooooh ooooooooooooooooh
Twenty-five years I'm alive here still Trying to get up that great big hill of hope for a destination mmh mh
Okay, maybe the song wasn't the way to go....
