If the patch notes pan out I for one will welcome the return of my repair buddies and am glad that they will be getting the rewards that they have deserved for a long time. |

When logies give ammo, revive and rep armour it makes the game so much better.
you guys are my favourite thing about dust! And i'm not even a logie!
Although when SOME NOT ALL logies do none of the above it's really annoying :P. |

Personaly, today,
It's difficult to be a good logi repairer, cause scout doesn't put drop backward... Keeping hives for their shotgun ...
So I have to fit drops on A-series... Can't pull off hives/nanites.... I need to make a strategic choice depending of the situation, and it's too expensive today to rush a prototype dropsuit...
But hell yes, I'll skill back in remote repairer ;) !!! |

I might go back to more of a support logi. Partially because my WP are back and partially because scramblers are getting a range nerf (along with mass drivers getting a buff). |

It's not the ammo distribution I like as much as the Revive/Armour rep.
I like knowing I have a logie backing me up it's kickass!  |

I do that for my squad, but I keep having to run cheap fits to earn back a few of my Type II Logi fit. |

I still did it sometimes too. A good amount of the time it was more of people running away in fear of the scary beam thingy coming from my hax0r pistol to tk their asses. |

I'm not a Logi, but I run Repair Tools surprisingly often for an Assault/Scout player (mostly Assault). |

When I see a really good LogiBro (not me) on the top of the Warpoints score at the end of the game, I'll be a happy player. Too long have AR guys dominated the warpoints, and I'd like to see everyone doing productive, goal-oriented stuff rewarded. |

You're Mischa Egan? I hate you so much why do you shot gun me so much! Also do you use an absurd amount of profile dampening you never show up on my radar.
I share everyone elses feelings though I may start to logi again too I stopped when it did get WP for repairs and such so I lost alot of isk. |

One thing I've noticed is that the patchnote doesn't mention any scale of WP you get depending on how much you repair. For instance, is there any difference in WP you get if you just touch someone with your repair tool or fully repair him. Yes, one difference is that fully repaired merc has better chance to kill someone and thus earning you some XP. |

Unfortunately ccp doesnt always use straightforward mechanical choices. go look up ewar in eve.

This is something I'll be testing, hopefully it's a sign that the "WP on cycle end" is now a thing of the past as that was an issue even before the hotfix stripped WP from the Repair Tool. We'll have to see what the values are on all of these things (including the cap window), but it's a welcome change nonetheless  it'll be nice to have my Repair Tool earn WPs again.
(now if CCP can fix the targeting and WP issues with the injector we'll really be cooking  ) |
