At the character selection screen, press X, and then delete. Or something like that. |

The Delete Character option is right below the Select Character option when you login. |

Yeah,
When you are choosing a character to fight as it should say 'choose character' 'activate passive SP' and 'Delete' or close to those descriptions :P.

It says Terminate, not Delete
Once selected gives 10 min timer after 10 minutes have to select again and choose Confirm Termination.
You can then create a new one from scratch that starts with ~360k SP. Note that all earned SP, AUR, and equipment is lost in termination including MERC packages, etc. |

As an additional note, Eve Online has a 24 hour timer for terminating characters. |
