Understand, FULLY as in everything including all DS3, MOVE, & NAV controller buttons. I am at a total loss as to why this functionality is an afterthought from a developer who originally makes PC games. Console devs think users are stupid or something so they incorporate little to no remapping, took a PC dev like Valve with CSgo to get it mostly right.
Meantime why not give us willing to chance it access the config file & let us edit with a text editor? I am a PC gamer use to directly editing flat text config files using 'shift=Run' style not being limited by short comings of a UI. |

Clearly CCP just doesn't give a frak? How do you come from the PC world & create such a dumbed down UI for PS3? Key binding & all manor of tweaking should have been in Dust 514 v0.01 yet will still don't have it now? Christ, all you'd have to do is expose the config file so we can edit it with a text editor like 1000's of PC games have. |

Mouse hardware makers have already done the brain work on this. 500 or 1000Hz poll and user configurable 800-5600DPI. Now getting a console 1. to do this at all, 2. do it with diverse brands of mice, that's another story!

In answer to the question on the mouse sensitivity - it's being worked on currently. With the help of the forums we have identified the key issues and we hope to deploy a patch that resolves these concerns very soon.
As for keyboard remapping, we are working through a list of prioritised tasks and this feature is among those. At this moment in time we are utilising all available resources to deliver a smoother Uprising experience. Could you please post what you think are optimal mouse settings with regards to: - Polling rate setting. - DPI setting of mouse. - PS3 home screen sensitivity setting. - Dust 514 ingame sensitivity setting.

AKA = You're a moron with an unfounded bias against KB & Mouse support when you should be asking for DS3 tweaking which is the actual "problem" with DS3 vs. KB/M.

CCP's too busy killing BPO's & giving AUR refunds for now blueprint free market rather than giving similar/lesser ones in the process to have time to deal with custom controls or the "soon to be released: Vita app....
Try more like 1hr if they'd just give us a raw config file or even a simplistic form rather than "profiles".
Niohkarla Edge wrote:I can understand its not a 1st priority but I have been searching alot and the keyboard remap is a asked feature since fore ever. I can see post from devs : CCP Hybrid - 2013.05.14GM Hercules - 2013.01.14CCP Cmdr Wang - 2012.10.03CCP Frame - 2012.08.13 witch point back to CCP Frame - 2012.07.06Did i miss the feature? I did search the forums and all I find is people asking for it. Why cant we at least know why? I know you have better things to do then explaining why X or Y thing did or did not do the to do list but for over a year its been asked and it was said "its comming" from our end we see nothingt. On a pc it would have been the 1st thing to be coded. Is it the ps3 not being friendly with remap? Sorry for the rant but I feel its a feature that should'nt be that hard to implement (100-200 work hours ?) and its something allot of players asked for. In hope of having light on the subject, and please, i'm beggin, dont just say "its comming" Thank you Sylvain Roy AKA Niohkarla
